Dr. Fogel explains how structural alignment, nutritional deficiencies, environmental toxins, and lifestyle factors all influence how the body heals and functions. When the spine, nervous system, and cellular health are compromised, the body begins to break down — often long before symptoms appear.

Together, they dive into the concept of root-cause medicine, discussing why so many people today feel unwell even when their lab results appear “normal.” From metabolic dysfunction and toxic overload to poor posture and chronic stress, the episode highlights how modern lifestyles are accelerating degeneration and chronic disease — even in younger generations.

Dr. Fogel also shares how integrating corrective chiropractic care with functional medicine principles can help restore proper function to the body. But Dr. Bredesen’s groundbreaking research challenges that narrative. Drawing from years of clinical work and scientific discovery, he explains how cognitive decline is often driven by multiple underlying factors such as inflammation, toxins, nutrient deficiencies, metabolic dysfunction, and hormonal imbalances.

Rather than focusing on a single drug or therapy, Dr. Bredesen advocates for a precision medicine approach that identifies and addresses the root causes contributing to brain degeneration. By examining lifestyle, environmental exposures, metabolic health, sleep, and diet, physicians can begin to create personalized strategies aimed at restoring brain function and protecting long-term cognitive health.

This conversation explores how the brain responds to stressors over time and why early intervention is critical.

In this episode of Rethink My Health Radio, Dr. Gez Agolli and Dr. Cheryl Burdette uncover one of the most overlooked reasons people remain chronically ill: co-infections.

If you’ve been treated for Lyme disease, mold exposure, viruses, or another chronic infection—but still don’t feel better—this episode explains why healing may have stalled. Dr. Agolli and Dr. Burdette break down how multiple infections can coexist in the body, overwhelm the immune system, and keep symptoms cycling even after treatment.

From stealth pathogens and immune suppression to inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and toxin burden, this conversation reveals why treating one infection is often not enough. You’ll learn how co-infections are missed in conventional care, which symptoms raise red flags, and how a functional, root-cause approach can finally bring clarity.

This episode is especially important for anyone struggling with chronic fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, autoimmune symptoms, or relapsing illness with no clear explanation.

In this episode:

-What co-infections are—and why they’re commonly missed
-Why antibiotics or antivirals may not fully resolve symptoms
-The connection between Lyme, mold, viruses, parasites & chronic illness
-How co-infections suppress the immune system
-Functional testing that uncovers hidden infections
-Why personalized, layered treatment is essential for recovery

If you’ve ever felt like something was missed—or that your body just won’t heal—this conversation may finally explain why.

About Rethink My Health Radio

A weekly show sharing real stories, powerful science, and conversations that challenge conventional healthcare—so you can live healthier, longer, and more empowered.

Website: www.progressivemedicalcenter.com

🎧 Listen on Spotify
▶️ Subscribe on YouTube for every new episode
📱 Follow us on Instagram & TikTok
@progressivemedicalcenter
@progressivemedicalctr

This Is Your Life.
