Each of us moving in individual alignment with God creates a divine orchestration where He manages how our purposes intersect with others. As Romans 8:9 and 1 Corinthians 3:16 remind us, the Holy Spirit dwells within us, making conscious connection with God always possible.

These events happened alongside financial shifts, legal matters, new work demands, and emerging health concerns that had me visiting a rheumatologist regularly.

Looking back at my school days, I never worried much about pop quizzes. What stressed me was measuring up to my previous performances on standardized tests. But life's adult version of pop quizzes hit differently. When my Jaguar F-Pace with its personalized license plate reading "IT'S ON ME" (symbolizing God's favor and anointing) was suddenly unavailable, it forced me to confront a profound question: Is the anointing on me or on my car? Is God's favor dependent on the things I possess?

These unexpected tests revealed something I thought I'd already mastered—that my identity and God's favor aren't tied to material possessions or circumstances. Just as academic pop quizzes prepare students for final exams, these spiritual pop quizzes prepare us for graduation to new levels of faith and understanding. We nurture harmful thoughts, behaviors, and influences at our core, sometimes passing these destructive patterns to future generations.

But unlike ants, we've been blessed with spiritual discernment through the Holy Spirit—a divine guidance system that can alert us to these invasive threats before they destroy us from within. God's intricate design of nature, even in creatures with seemingly deceptive purposes, provides us with powerful lessons about vigilance and protection of our spiritual wellbeing.

The shame we carry often isn't ours to bear. For years, I carried the heavy weight of my origin story—being born as the product of rape to a mother diagnosed with schizophrenia who struggled without proper treatment or support. God gently instructed me to share this story through my podcast, but fear and shame led me to resist, delay, and complicate what should have been simple obedience.

When I finally began sharing my story, something unexpected happened. Through my own voice, I received the very breakthrough I needed. This podcast is about my spiritual journey, discovering myself, learning about my family and friends, and understanding the unique love language the Lord uses to communicate with me. For me, that love language is dreams. He’s spoken to me through dreams for as long as I can remember, and as I’ve grown older, I’ve realized how unique and purposeful this is.

Vision in the Valley is about sharing these dreams and the revelations they bring. I hope that by sharing my journey, others will find inspiration and insight into their own spiritual paths.

I’d like to start with an intriguing story about an artist at the peak of his career. This artist had a unique talent for replicating well-known works of art on extremely small canvases, like coins or the size of pencil erasers. His dedication was astonishing, as he even used hairs from his own body for the delicate work, and he had to time his strokes between breaths and heartbeats to avoid disrupting his art.

Despite his incredible talent and the beauty of his finished pieces, the artist revealed to a producer that he did not enjoy the process of creating his work. His joy came only from seeing others appreciate his art. This struck me deeply, as it parallels how many of us approach our daily lives. We often go through our routines, whether as dentists, accountants, bus drivers, or artists, without finding joy in the process, focusing only on the end result.

Life is a journey, and the finished product isn’t revealed until we’re no longer here. Therefore, it’s essential to find joy in our daily lives and routines. Even if we don’t enjoy every single day, we must seek moments of joy in the journey itself. For me and my coworkers, work can be challenging, but it’s crucial to find joy in the process, not just in the outcomes.

This realization has changed my life, and I believe it can make a significant difference in yours too. Don’t wait for the finished product to experience joy. Find it in the journey, in between heartbeats and breaths.

Recently, I was on a quest for a pair of boots from one of my favorite stores, which involved visiting multiple locations within a significant radius. After work, I decided to check out two locations near my workplace while chatting with a friend on the phone. Despite using the navigator, I kept missing my destination and getting frustrated. I joked that this was a testimony moment, emphasizing the lesson in perseverance.

Even though it was just for a pair of shoes, I was determined to find them. This determination can often contrast with how quickly we might give up on more significant goals, like pursuing education or career advancements.

On my fourth attempt, the navigator announced, "Caution, you are approaching a complex intersection," which I found fascinating and relevant to our spiritual journeys. Wouldn't it be great if we received such warnings for life decisions? While we don't get such clear alerts, we do get signs from God if we listen.

Identifying your love language with God is crucial. For me, God speaks to me through dreams, a pattern that started in my childhood. I’ve learned to pay attention to these dreams and other signs in my daily life. These signs guide me, even when the path is complex.

So, while you might not hear a literal announcement, be attuned to the signs God provides. Find your love language with God and listen closely, as it will guide you through life's complicated intersections and towards your destinations. Drawing from Pastor Glenn's teachings on reclaiming moments, we explore cognitive restructuring and the practical approaches of the 'three C's' - catch it, check it, and change it. I share a personal journey of positivity as a gift from God and reflects on a powerful sermon by Pastor Hannah about Aeneas. The biblical story illustrates the significance of maintaining a positive outlook and trusting in God's timing, as exhibited by Aeneas, who was healed after eight years of paralysis. The message underlines the importance of self-awareness, recollection, and the impact of one's positivity on others.

They recount the spiritual breakthrough that led to the realization of a 'Divine AAA' (Agreement, Alignment, Assignment), symbolizing the constant support of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. What have you been delivered from that you are still holding on to and why?  The central message is about recognizing and celebrating deliverance, letting go of past struggles, and moving forward into victory with joy and purpose. 

 In the first season of "Vision in the Valley," called "Born," I share the history and inspiration behind the podcast, including my recurring dreams involving speaking difficulties. Initially, I experienced a burning sensation in my throat, which progressed to my mouth being sealed or filled with gooey or stringy substances, preventing speaking.

These dreams evolved over time, symbolizing my struggle to find and use my voice. In one significant episode titled "Speak Child," I realized that sharing my dreams was a part of my purpose, leading me to embrace my voice and spiritual calling.

Recently, I had a breakthrough dream where I coughed up a black, gooey mass, symbolizing my deliverance from whatever was holding me back. I held onto the mass, intending to show it to trusted sources as proof of my struggle. However, I realized that holding onto this symbol of my past struggle prevented me from fully embracing my victory and moving forward.

When God delivers us from something, we should leave it behind and not hold onto it. Deliverance is about showing victory, not holding onto remnants of past struggles. I encourage listeners to reflect on what they have been delivered from and to fully embrace their deliverance, leaving behind any remnants of past burdens.

We don't have to wait for the  "Ball To Drop" or the year to end to begin again!  We serve a limitless God, who's full of mercy.  He grants us access to fresh starts moment by moment.  We're making Lifestyle changes in 2023... 

Happy New Year!!! Today is January 3rd, 2023, and I want to start by giving honor to God. Despite any challenges in 2022, there have been lessons and blessings that I'm grateful for. Reflecting on the past year, I realize there are so many things to be thankful for, even amidst a few tough moments. God is truly awesome. 

Many of us seek motivation and fulfillment through various means, including manifestation techniques like the 369 rule, where you write down your goals three times in the morning, six times in the afternoon, and nine times in the evening. While these practices focus on consistency and manifesting desires, they miss the spiritual connection that comes from aligning with God's will.

Speaking life into our goals and desires is not a new concept; it's biblical. However, we must ensure our desires align with God's purpose for us. Without this alignment, even our most persistent efforts may leave us unsatisfied. God's plan offers us the strength and guidance to handle both good and challenging times.

I often discuss muscle memory with my daughter, Alyssa. Just as her abs quickly respond to workouts due to muscle memory, our spiritual growth improves through consistent practice. By being intentional about prayer, church involvement, and consuming inspirational content, we condition our spiritual muscles.

I encourage you to include God in your motivational strategies. While positive practices like journaling can be helpful, they must align with what God has for your life. Without this connection, efforts can feel empty, much like the music that no longer motivated me.

Tap into the real source of steadfastness—God. When you grow weary, return to Him for replenishment. No favorite song or mere words can replace the power of God's guidance and strength. Take a moment to nurture your spiritual muscles and align your actions with His will.

Welcome back to Vision in the Valley. I wanted to catch up with you guys because this journey is ongoing. It's not about reaching a final destination but enjoying the work, sharing the testimony, and finding joy in the process. Even when I know better, I sometimes get stuck in old habits. This episode is my way of reminding myself to keep moving forward, one day or one recording at a time, enjoying the journey because that is where the blessing lies.

I've had several dreams where I'm in a vehicle—whether it's a car, a train, or a bus—moving at incredible speeds. Sometimes I'm surrounded by people, other times I'm alone. The common theme is the speed and the uncertainty of who is driving. I often find myself trying to get to the front of the vehicle to take control, feeling the physical effort in my dreams. Once, I reached the driver's seat of a bus only to find no one was driving. This recurring dream speaks to my need for control and the overwhelming speed of life's journey.

In one particularly vivid dream, I was on a train going faster than ever before. I managed to reach the front and again found no driver. In my fear, I started to pray. This dream became a breakthrough moment. Suddenly, I was no longer moving at warp speed but found myself in a serene, weightless space with stars all around. I realized I was in space, and the fear gave way to awe. As an astronaut approached me, I reached out and saw my bare arm, understanding that what others need—like a space suit—I did not. This profound moment revealed that the Lord blesses us as we are, without needing external validations.

So, if you feel unqualified because you lack certain credentials or experiences, remember that we serve a limitless God. He equips us for high altitudes, and His anointing prepares us for the journey. Be encouraged, embrace the journey, and know that you are blessed and equipped for your calling. 

Ms. Pac-Man mirrors our lives in many ways. The strategy isn't just about clearing the board; it's about navigating life with purpose and using our power sources at the right times. The little dots on the board represent the mundane, day-to-day tasks, while the larger power pellets represent the moments of rest and recharging we need to defeat the enemy.

In life, we need to rest and reenergize ourselves to stay on course with what the Lord has put on our hearts. Just like in Ms. Pac-Man, where you need power pellets to conquer the ghosts, we need to plug into our power sources, like church and spiritual practices, to overcome the challenges we face.

The strategy in Ms. Pac-Man, and in life, is to use our resources wisely. Why gobble up all the power pellets without a plan? Enjoy the journey, strategize, and be ready for the next level. Just as in the game, where clearing the board without strategy doesn't lead to true victory, in life, we need to be intentional and strategic in our actions.

Spoon-Feeding: Quan Noel discusses how God has been spoon-feeding her (us), providing revelations and insights at the right time. Just like a good father feeds a baby, God gives us what we can handle (our portions).

What do you do while your waiting?
Welcome back to Vision in the Valley. This season, we've been talking about giving birth to something new—experiencing labor pains, delivering your gift, and nurturing it once it's here. But what about the times when you're not in labor or delivering? What about the waiting room?

The waiting room is crucial because it's where we connect with God, seek guidance, and find our purpose. Most of our time is spent here, preparing for what's next. My own journey, including the creation of this podcast, has been a long waiting room experience. It's where I found clarity and alignment with God's plan.

In the waiting room, we should stay productive. Engage with others who are also seeking God, read motivational material, and feed your faith. For me, doodling helped me find the alignment logo and develop the formula: gifts divided by assignment equals purpose. This time is essential because it prepares us for the sudden movements of God. When it's time to go, it's go time.

So, embrace your waiting room experience. Stay productive and connected to God and others. Remember, you're up next. I'll talk with you soon.

In this episode of "Vision in the Valley," I share profound dreams that have guided my spiritual journey and inspired the podcast. I describe vivid dreams where I'm speaking confidently on a stage, levitating, and hearing my own voice, all symbolizing my calling to share the message. These dreams, occurring before significant real-life events like my church's grand opening and moving into a new home, have shown me the importance of staying focused on your purpose, much like Peter walking on water by keeping his eyes on Jesus.

I recount how these experiences led me to realize my calling to use my voice through podcasting. Despite initial nervousness and doubts, my dreams have affirmed my path, highlighting the intricate patterns and symbols that guide me. I aim to inspire and bless others by sharing my spiritual growth and the revelations I've received. My journey emphasizes faith, overcoming fear, and staying true to our purpose, offering hope and encouragement to listeners.

Once you've been given the "Gift/Baby", you have a responsibility attached to it.  Dirty bath water goes along with bathing a baby.  It's a part of the assignment.  Don't let the dirty bath water throw you off or make you lose sight of the Gift/Baby.

Welcome back to Vision in the Valley. Today, I want to dive into the intersection of divine purpose and the challenges the enemy throws our way when we align with God's plan.

Once you find your divine purpose, everything seems to align. Doors open, gifts are stirred, and life takes on new meaning. But with this alignment comes new challenges from the enemy, who aims to disrupt your progress.

For five years, I pursued a career change inspired by a life-saving experience with a remarkable doctor. Encouraged by a dear friend, Sherry Hargraves, I joined a new company, starting in an entry-level position. I prayed for five years to be used by God to improve the workplace culture and patient experience. I met key people, got promoted, and ultimately, I was invited to work with the Chief Experience Officer to create a training model for staff.

While celebrating this divine opportunity, financial challenges arose. I took a leap of faith to acquire a second condo, increasing my expenses significantly. Bill collectors began calling, causing stress and doubt. Despite this, I recognized that these challenges were distractions from my divine assignment.

I've waited five years for this moment, and I refuse to let financial worries overshadow my purpose. The same God who guided me to this point will provide for my needs. I encourage you to stay focused on your purpose, recognizing that challenges are part of the journey.

Remember, when you have a gift from God, challenges (like dirty bathwater) come with the assignment. Don't let these challenges overshadow your purpose. Keep your eyes on the divine gift and discard the distractions.

Welcome to Vision in the Valley. This podcast is my way of sharing the journey of my faith, dreams, and purpose. I often experience vivid dreams where I receive visions, and I believe that God speaks to me in a unique love language through these dreams.

In one such dream, I found myself in a hospital, feeling abandoned and neglected. I realized that I had been there for months without anyone checking on me. Despite the confusion, I eventually left the hospital and encountered a familiar woman who helped me. As I walked, I felt pain and difficulty, symbolizing the emotional and physical weight of feeling isolated and stuck. However, with her support, I began to walk more freely, beckoning others to join me.

I led a group to a church, where I started to share my testimony about being a dreamer and how God speaks to me. However, when I focused on one person in the crowd, I lost my voice and couldn't speak. Instead, I began to leap in joy, demonstrating my healing and freedom.

Reflecting on this dream, I realized that the hospital room represented a place of birthing new ideas and purpose. Staying there too long led to feelings of abandonment and stagnation. The dream encouraged me to move forward and share my message, despite fears and doubts. I believe that we all have a purpose and should not let fear or the opinions of others hold us back.

Welcome to Vision in the Valley. Today, I want to share about my four wonderful adult children: boy, girl, boy, girl. They are beautiful, smart, entrepreneurial, and a force individually and together. Observing their interactions and how others react to them fills me with pride.

Reflecting on motherhood, especially the labor pains before delivery, made me think about spiritual labor. Each of my pregnancies was different, just as every person’s experience varies. The labor pains, not the delivery itself, prepared me for the actual birth. I relate this physical experience to spiritual growth.

In my spiritual journey, I now experience what feels like labor pains when something significant is about to happen. I've heard sermons about birthing greatness, but it took time for me to connect this to my experiences. Watching "Call the Midwife" helped me see the parallels between physical and spiritual labor.

Now, when the Holy Spirit moves me, I feel labor pains: discomfort, pacing, fanning, and controlled breathing, similar to physical labor. These pains signal that I am about to give birth to something significant spiritually. This realization has changed how I view these experiences.

This podcast itself is a result of spiritual labor, years in the making. Initially thinking I would write a book, I struggled until I realized a podcast was the right format. This long labor has led to a meaningful delivery, blessing me and hopefully others.

I encourage you to recognize your labor pains as signs of impending greatness. Prepare your space for delivery, as midwives prepare a birthing place. Embrace the process, for you are about to give birth to something great.
