A university educator for more than twenty-five years, Esther has designed innovative programs that foster intellectual, emotional, and spiritual well-being. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as humanities degrees from Harvard University and the University of California, Berkeley.

In 2025, Esther founded Liberty Walks, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering connection and community across our nation’s divides. Its inaugural initiative was a 2,800-mile pilgrimage from Eugene, Oregon, to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C: an act of faith in ‘We the People.'

Dr. Sen is a tenured Professor and Max Morehouse Chair in Cancer Research in the Division of Medical Oncology at The Ohio State University, where she also serves as Associate Director of Research and Director of the Lung Cancer Preclinical Therapeutic Platform. Rachel holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Simon Fraser University, where she was elected departmental steward and later chair of the Teaching Support Staff Union. After more than two decades in high-performance ad sales roles, Jen felt a pull to explore how she could use her skills and experience to make a difference in the world. At the same time, she began experiencing confusing physical and emotional changes that were dismissed by multiple doctors. She later learned that she was in perimenopause, and the timing collided with a challenging chapter at work. An ADHD diagnosis later in life provided even deeper clarity, revealing she had been navigating symptoms without language, support, or understanding for years.

These experiences opened her eyes to how many women are dismissed or misdiagnosed, left to struggle in silence, and forced to figure out midlife on their own. Determined to change that, Jen earned a menopause coaching certification, not to take clients, but to deepen her knowledge so she could better educate, validate, and advocate for women who deserve answers. Through Jenopause Midlife, she teaches women how to find high-quality care, champions open conversation, and speaks openly about the realities of midlife health.

Jen also serves on the Board of Directors of the NYC YMCA and is active in fundraising and community volunteer work. She lives between New York City and the Jersey Shore with her husband.

Kelly lives in Glenside PA with her husband, daughter, and cat - filling her life and house with all the colors in the rainbow. She has worked in the background screening industry for nearly two decades, but after losing her mom to cancer in 2021, decided to take a step down from her high-pressure role as Vice President of Operations to focus more on her mental health. Dr. Reeves received her doctoral training at the University of Mississippi and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.   Dr. Reeves also completed a research internship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she developed a programmatic line of research examining the cognitive sequelae of pediatric brain tumors and leukemia.  Since completion of her training, Dr. Reeves worked as a staff psychologist for the Children’s Hospital of Prisma Health System, serving as a clinical provider for a comprehensive weight management program, bariatric weight management clinic and the Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinic.  Dr. Reeves also worked as a contract psychologist for the Center for Research, Assessment and Treatment Efficacy in Asheville, where she conducted comprehensive psychological evaluations on adolescents in residential treatment facilities.

Tamara has a varied background in women’s reproductive health activism and has been working in maternal, infant and child health for the last twenty years. Tamara has a deep interest in the sustainability of the midwifery profession and politics as they relate to birth. On a (perhaps) permanent break from pursuing a Phd in Family Therapy, her clinical and research interests focus on exploring mental health issues that are pervasive during the childbearing years particularly the experience of postpartum depression, post traumatic stress related to birth and perinatal bereavement. Tamara currently serves on the board of the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery. She is the owner of a private practice Kindred: Therapy for Wellness .

While growing up in India, she witnessed the unequal distribution of responsibilities between men and women. Malene was educated as a licensed nurse in Denmark in 1998. After working in neonatal care at Kings College Hospital in London, she attended midwifery school in Bergen, Norway, completing her studies in 2002. She worked as a midwife and nurse in Norway, St.Kitts in the West Indies, Denmark, and the USA. She is currently a perineal specialist midwife at Slagelse Hospital in Denmark and is the inventor and developer of the Hegenberger Retractor. Malene is the second midwife to invent an obstetric tool since the French midwife Anne-Marie Boivin (17773-1841). 

Malene founded the company HegenbergerSpeculum in 2017 and completed a successful exit of the Hegenberger Retractor in 2021 to a British company and is now the director of global training and Innovation for HegenbergerMedical.

Malene is teaching midwives and doctors in suturing post-partum tears in Denmark and is a role model for other entrepreneurs with good clinical products. Ru Cheng is Director of the Women's Health Innovations team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where all lives have equal value. She leads a team focused on the development and adoption of high-quality health products that address the needs of women and girls in low and middle-income countries.

Ru’s career path defies traditional boundaries and classifications with a common thread of applying science and medicine to address health areas that prevent women from achieving optimal health. As a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, she began her career in academic medicine as a clinician educator. After a mentor introduced her to clinical research, Ru saw the opportunity to drive impact on a bigger scale. She transitioned to the pharma industry and spent the next 15 years working in clinical development roles of increasing responsibility and leadership in women's health which took her to Wyeth/Pfizer, Bayer, and Johnson&Johnson. In her role at Johnson & Johnson, she developed public health initiatives aimed at the maternal mortality crisis in the US and the associated inequities. 

In her current role at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Ru draws upon all of her experiences as a woman’s health clinician, big pharma R&D leader, and public health innovator. And throughout her career, Ru has brought her lived experiences as a female immigrant from a minority race, facing and overcoming inequities, further fueling her passion to advocate for marginalized women. Kattayoun is the Head of Rare Disease and Maternal-Fetal Clinical Development at Johnson and Johnson. Triple-board certified in general pediatrics, pediatric gastroenterology & hepatology, and clinical pharmacology, her journey in medicine started off traveling the world providing HIV clinical care in developing countries from the Andes Mountains in Ecuador and Malawi to Thailand and rural South Africa. Her love of the transformative impact of science and medicine led her to pursue an academic career in pediatric liver transplantation and gastroenterology in prominent pediatric transplant centers in the country. She transitioned to Johnson and Johnson to take on new and challenging areas of developing medicines for rare diseases and maternal-fetal conditions, including treating pregnant women to prevent poor fetal/neonatal outcomes. She is working to disrupt the drug development paradigm by innovating successful clinical trials among pregnant people to encourage the greater community to pursue research and therapeutics for this historically neglected population and to ultimately bring equity and life-saving therapies to women and children globally.

For over 30+ years, Linda has invested in public and private life science companies as an institutional investor, a corporate M&A executive, a hedge fund analyst, and a private venture investor. She's held roles at companies such as Essex Investment Management, Bank of America Securities, Novartis Diagnostics, Applied Biosystems (sold to Life Technologies Corp.) as well as at venture-backed life science companies such as VitaPath Genetics, Singulex, Raindance Technologies (sold to Bio-Rad), and Linkage Biosciences (sold to Thermo Fisher). 

In 2010, Linda started angel investing with two of her Harvard Business School classmates, focusing on female-founded startups. One of the companies in their portfolio was nVision, a female-founded, women’s health-focused startup that was acquired by Boston Scientific in 2018 for up to $275 million. The trouble that nVision had fundraising from the male-dominant venture capital industry - and its subsequent success nonetheless - led Linda and one of her fellow angel investors to found Avestria Ventures in 2019 to focus exclusively on early-stage women’s health and female-led life science ventures.

Linda’s areas of expertise include finance, operations, and mergers as well as the life sciences, specifically, diagnostics, genomics, healthcare services, and life science tools.

Linda received her B.A. from Yale and her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Her new PBS documentary BELOW THE BELT, executive produced by Hillary Clinton and Rosario Dawson, approaches endometriosis as a social justice issue. 

The film is one element of a larger social impact plan to create meaningful change in endometriosis and women's health including increased research funding, policy changes, medical education initiatives and widespread awareness. Her previous film ENDO WHAT? was called "the first step in a plan for change" by NEWSWEEK and "film of the year" by THE GUARDIAN. 

Before becoming a filmmaker, Shannon practiced international law and was part of the legal team that prosecuted Enron in the largest white-collar crime investigation in FBI history. She has endometriosis and has two young daughters who have a 7x increased risk of having the disease.

Previously Elsy was Executive Vice President, and Chief Operating Officer at Cellectis, a French biotechnology company focused on gene editing and its applications in oncology. Prior to joining Cellectis, Elsy worked at the Boston Consulting Group where she served as Partner Managing Director and leader of BCG’s biotech-focused business in Europe.

Marie was born and raised in Haiti. After high school, she traveled to the Dominican Republic to pursue an undergraduate program in computer science at the Universidad Catholica Santo Domingo and later graduated with an Associate of Arts degree. 

Over the years Marie traveled back and forth to her home country, Haiti ultimately settling in Connecticut where she has been working in healthcare for over 12 years as a Nursing Assistant and Nurse Resource Assistant at various health systems. She currently works in a Connecticut hospital as an NRA as well as at City Hall as a Community Resource Specialist serving her community while continuing her studies in social work. Marie was recognized at Greenwich Hospital with the Great Catch Award for modeling HRO safety behaviors and taking action to improve patients’ safety. Her passion lies in helping change people's lives. 

During COVID-19 Marie felt the need to get out and help swab people, she wanted to be part of the covid 19 solution and be part of the change when a lot of people were uncertain about the future. She was recognized in her local newspaper for her efforts. At this time she also started working remotely for a translation company where she could apply her multi-linguistic skills (Marie speaks 4 languages) to be able to hear urgent stories and help serve her Haitian community, she knew she must use her voice, for those who cannot hear. And this is where her vocation to become a social worker began. 

Marie is always for the fight against the mistreatment of women and anything that she can do to help improve the lives of women in society, She is for it, as a feminist. Today she is working towards her bachelor's degree, in social work where she will help serve even more people in her community.

Overbeke co-founded and operated two businesses for over 25 years.  Her career path pivoted in her late 50s when she grew curious about the role of daughters in family businesses.  She returned to school, entered the Doctor of Management program at Case Western Reserve University, and conducted empirical research on daughters in family businesses while studying leadership development and other aspects of management.  She has published her research in peer-reviewed scholarly journals and has presented her research internationally.  Overbeke has also written articles for popular publications such as Psychology Today.

Since completing her doctorate, Overbeke has worked with family businesses addressing daughters’ roles and helping owners keep the entrepreneurial fire alive while maintaining family harmony and an appreciation for the family that built the business.  She is also an executive coach and works with Fortune 500, mid-size businesses, non-profit organizations, and Master’s level leadership classes.

Overbeke recently co-authored The Sixth Level, a book about how women lead in large and mid-size organizations using the ethic of care and connection.  The book centers on narratives from 16 women CEOs and senior executives and presents an innovative leadership model based on the narratives and women’s social psychology. The book will be released in December.

Overbeke is most proud of her accomplished, beautiful daughters and is energized by helping women who have breached gender barriers and women who continue to struggle with this deterrent.

Latha completed her medical degree in India and moved to CT in 1993. After completing internal medicine Gastroenterology and Hepatology training at the Yale University hospital system, she began her career as a gastroenterologist in private practice in 2001.

Diagnosed with breast cancer in her 20’s, Dana founded AnaOno out of her own necessity and desire for not only beautiful but comfortable lingerie that fit her surgically altered body. After a mastectomy with reconstruction traditional bras no longer fit, and Dana was certain there must be more than just sports bras and camisoles out there. With a degree in fashion design from Savannah College of Art and Design, and a successful fashion industry career, she took her decade-plus of product experience and put it toward designing, launching, and building AnaOno, Chest-Inclusive Intimates Designed Differently.

When she was 11 her grandmother died of ovarian cancer, when she was 15, her mother had breast cancer underwent harsh treatments, and thankfully survived, and when she was 40, she was diagnosed with breast cancer herself. In 3 months she lost almost all the organs and parts that defined her as a woman. This experience diverted her life to the path of multidisciplinary studies; through her art, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

In 2013, Efrat launched CureDiva.com, the first-ever social commerce platform exclusively for women with breast cancer. In 2016 she founded - EZbra - the world's first and only sterile and disposable post-op bra and dressing. She’s the first African American and the first woman to serve as president of the college since it was founded in 1823, Berger-Sweeney is a champion of a liberal arts education, improving campus equity and diversity, fostering community and global engagement, caring for the school’s proud alumni, and preparing students to lead bold and transformative lives.

Berger-Sweeney is the recipient of numerous awards. She has been honored with a Lifetime Mentoring Award from the Society for Neuroscience (2006) and a National Science Foundation Young Investigator Award. In 2022, she was honored by Tufts University for her legacy of transformational Black leadership and was the recipient of the Edward Bouchet Academic Leadership Award from the Institute for Cross-Cultural Awareness and Transformative Education. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the International Behavioral Neuroscience Society (IBNS). 

Before coming to Trinity, Berger-Sweeney served as dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts University (2010–14), creating the vision and setting the strategic direction for the university’s largest school. She began her academic career as a member of the Wellesley College faculty, joining in 1991 as an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences and rising through the ranks to become the Allene Lummis Russell Professor in Neuroscience. Her teaching and research career at Wellesley spanned 19 years, including serving as director of Wellesley’s Neuroscience Program and an associate dean.

Berger-Sweeney received an undergraduate degree in psychobiology from Wellesley College, an M.P.H. in environmental health sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in neurotoxicology from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, where she did the proof of concept work on Razadyne, one of the most widely used Alzheimer’s drugs in the world. She completed postdoctoral training at the National Institute of Health (INSERM) in Paris, France. 
 
Berger-Sweeney has authored more than 60 scientific publications, holds several scientific patents, and has held grants from the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and numerous private foundations.

Snelling has served on aging and caregiving advisory committees for the White House, the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the National Institute on Aging (NIA), Alzheimer’s Association and is currently an advisor to Georgetown University’s graduate school on Health and Aging. She also is a mentor for the Techstars and Melinda Gates’s Pivotal Ventures longevity start-up incubator program. 

Snelling has a master’s degree in gerontology from USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology and a master’s certification from MIT Sloan School of Management on Shaping the Jobs of the Future – both of which she achieved after the age of 50. She lives in Newport Beach, California.

Magaly was born in La Antigua Guatemala. An only child but grew up surrounded by the love and care of a large extended family. She was raised by a single mother from whom she learned the value of hard work, commitment, independence, generosity and the importance of self-care.

The early part of Sola’s life was spent in national service for her country, Nigeria. She did a year of National Service as a Nursing Officer in the State Civil Service following her undergraduate degree. She later moved into the General Administrative Cader and then went on to do a Post Graduate degree in Public Administration. Sola was with the Lagos State Civil Service of Nigeria for 13 years as a Public Administrator.

In 1994 Sola retired to venture into entrepreneurship.  At 67 she’s presently in the hospitality industry managing and hosting various events.
