Hellooooo all you warlocks and vagabonds. We're back and the gang is still trapped by the witch! They're still trying to find Arnold and now they've been locked inside a basement. Laid before them are a series of puzzles that only an Alissa can solve and the boys can try their best at. I mean seriously, that girl is obsessed with escape rooms. Mike tries to look right at lasers, Andrew gets quizzed on dead things, and Alissa plays a puzzle game in the dirt. Equally intriguing and helpful in their mission. What's up, lug nuts?! Christmas is finally over!!!! Yay!!!!!!! But that means we're in a new perilous adventure. Travelling back from the North Pole, Alissa, Mike and Andrew see the House Castlevanders under the throes of a full on rebellion from some pretty pissed off Dickensian orphans! But that kinda makes sense, right? They were wrongfully imprisoned for slave labor in the family's mines after all. Pretty messed up. Makes you rethink buying an iPhone. Anyway, for us that means time to get paid finally! Or so we hope... Anywho, we wind up in this big old bayou in search of an answer to our cursed macaw's torment once and for all! In November 1987, Jamaican sprinter Derice Bannock trains to qualify for the 100 metre in the 1988 Summer Olympics. He fails to qualify when fellow runner Junior Bevil accidentally stumbles, not only falling over himself, but knocking down Derice, and another competitor named Yul Brenner.

Derice petitions for a re-heat, but committee leader Barrington Coolidge, though he pities Derice, refuses. He invites Derice to try again in four years' time, or to try out for one of the only two other sports Jamaica competes in; boxing and cycling. Derice spots a photograph in Coolidge’s office, featuring his late father Ben, standing next to a fellow Olympic gold medal winner. Coolidge identifies the man as disgraced American bobsled medallist Irving Blitzer, who was disqualified for cheating in the 1972 Winter Olympics, and now works as a bookie, fortunately not far from where Derice lives. Derice realizes he could participate in the 1988 Winter Olympics by forming a bobsled team, recruiting his friend Sanka Coffie, a pushcart derby champion.

Derice and Sanka track down Blitzer, who at first refuses to help Derice, until learning he is Ben Bannock’s son. He reluctantly agrees to coach the team. A recruitment drive fails miserably. Blitzer shows a film about bobsledding on a slide projector, but is heckled, and when the lights come on, only Derice and Sanker are still present. Fortunately, Junior Bevil and Yul Brenner arrive late to the meeting, making the required four-man team. Junior, like Derice, can't wait another four years to enter the Olympics, and Yul Brenner just wants to get off the island. The team train with Blitzer, though Coolidge refuses to fund the $20,000 needed to participate in the Olympics, believing the team's inexperience will bring shame to Jamaica. Derice's attempts to find another sponsor fail miserably. The team are forced to find other ways to earn the money- Sanker tries his hand at busking, with no success. Yul Brenner holds arm-wrestling contests, and Derice even sets up a kissing booth- these ventures meet with moderate success, but they still haven't anywhere near enough money. In the end, Junior sells his car to finance the trip.

In Calgary, Blitzer registers the team, receiving an old bobsled from his former teammate Roger. The Jamaicans struggle to drive the bobsled and adapt to the cold, though exercise and hard work eventually pays off. Derice begins to copy the techniques of the very efficient East German team. The East German team, and their captain, Josef Groole- the current bobsled world record holder- constantly heckle the team during try-outs. Eventually, all the members of the team except Derice get into a bar fight with the East Germans. Derice reprimands them severely...

What's new, ya spoopy buncha pumpkin chuckers! Mike, Andrew and Alissa are hot on the trail of the precocious pampered princess Madelina Castlevanders, and although she's slippery much like... I'm trying to think of a simile here... KY? I mean I guess that works but it's not exactly as artful as I'd like to be.  Anyway, this sneaky little Daria wannabe straight up ran away from home to do who knows what! I saw a thing on the local new that said teens are 'blumping.' Apparently, it's when you collect your little cousin's urine in a mason jar and hide it behind the fridge. I guess it gets you high and we should all be worried.  But tbh I don't even trust the news anymore. Also, Dalton's married! Yay, Dalton! We truly worried he was incapable of intimacy, but he proved us so wrong! He's straight up married now! Didn't invite any of us, because he "just wanted to keep it to family and that's it." But we're not bitter or anything. This reminds me of a story. It must have been junior year of college. Dalton had a birthday party where the theme was himself. Called it "Dalt-a-palooza." Him and a bunch of us theatre kids went to his family's lima bean farm (I know! Lame right? But apparently, lima beans make you ungodly stinking rich... Go figure!) So all and all, the party is going pretty good! Dalton and a bunch-a-freegin' dorks are doing arhythmic, elbow-y white kid dancing in a barn that I'm sure was haunted by antebellum plantation owners, and everyone's drinking Avengers themed drinks they found on Pinterest like virginal little nerds. A few hours later, Dalton is done frenching his life-sized, black & white portrait of himself (a thing he actually owned and displayed), and his liver almost exploded. So since everyone was too drunk to drive, they had to call the ambulance to take him to the emergency room so he could get his stomach pumped. Also, pretty sure he pooped himself.  Anyway, I forgot where that was going, but congrats again, Dalton! Hope you make use of the Vitamix. Back to the story! Since this is a stealth mission, our gang has to tiptoe carefully so as not to tip off this teen that she's being tactfully tailed, but something's rotten in the state of Waterdeep. Our moody mark is exhibiting some mysterious behaviors... and our heroes will all to quickly find this rabbit hole goes all the way down. Where does the thread end when the sweater unravels? Will our ragtag group of merry adventurers be able to steal away in the shadows long enough to find what Madelina is up to? And can horses truly feel what it means to love?? Howdy ho, neighborinos! Alissa, Mike & Andrew are out of the woods! (Or the library I should say) But now, they're tasked to tail a troublesome teen. The Lady Castlevanders is worried her daughter may be mixed up in something bad.  Gone for hours at a time and behaving strangely, this teenybopper could be mixed up in some risky business! What's up, you plump little radishes? It's me! The guy who writes these! Mike, Andrew & Alissa are back, and oh boy is this a good one! The dwarven innkeeper Jolly has led our gang down into a dark, treacherous library in search of three books hidden somewhere in its shelves. The only problem is they're not alone... A metallic echo rings throughout the chamber. Things guard these books, slinking through the shadows, and there seems to be a wicked trick of the light. (You'll get that one later). Our gang will have to use all of their wits in order to best the magical wards protecting the library and its secrets held within! Also, the queen died... like not in the episode but in real life. The British one. Dead as any dead chick that ever died. I don't know if I have an opinion on it. She was OLD. Like 'featured in a local news segment' old. Like so old if your friend was like "My grandmother who is this old just died." You'd just be like Aww and move on. Maybe you'd talk about what you're getting for lunch seconds after. So old. Anyway. Also, the new guy is old too! The new king? He's British too. Old as sin. Not as old for sure. Oh! Remember that Prince Phillip duder? Now HE was the scary kinda old when he died. Like you don't want to look at him he's so old. You know? Itwasgross. Like I feel like he was in the press right before he died just because like it was a miracle the air wasn't crushing his skeleton.... like it was a miracle he was mobile in public.
