This is a powerful time for new beginnings and fresh ideas to start flowing in. We typically associate Spring with flowers blooming and the earth becoming green again after a long, cold winter.  It is a time of new beginnings and planting seeds for the year.   The word equinox comes from the Latin words for "equal night"—aequus (equal) and nox (night). On the equinox, the length of day and night is nearly equal in all parts of the world.  The equinox is equal - equal light and dark - or balance, and the universe allows us to define our personal definition of dark and light and what balance means to us.  This year, the Astrological New Year's Spring equinox sits between powerful eclipses. The full moon eclipse in Virgo on March 13/14, and the solar eclipse on March 29 in Aries.  Neptune also moves into Aries on March 30, so force is in the air.

Eclipses are a way to experience accelerated change; however, at a deeper level, they are our biggest opportunities for self-actualization. 

Eclipses are known to be catalysts for spiritual transformation and evolution; eclipses bring both endings and beginnings that shape our perspectives. Therefore, the best medicine for Eclipse season is to embrace surrender and acceptance, as often, we find the wheel of fate and destiny turning on our behalf, which means we get to release control and let go of the pressure. Practicing self-care and rituals remains our go-to practice, but we must remember that eclipses are not meant to be harnessed for manifestation practices—they are more about honoring our process of profound transformation.  Go with the flow. 

A lunar eclipse is an ending—clarity to something that has been in our field for a period of time. The full moon's illuminating energy pushes those things hidden to the surface. The moon can illuminate a new path or clarify our path.  

Solar eclipses emphasize beginnings.  Changes could come gradually or suddenly. Changes can be planned or unexpected as this is a time for alignment and the Universe shifting where you need to be.  This isn't always where you want to be, but it is a direction setting for alignment.  

It is important to remember at this time that you are not alone and that the Universe is supporting you. The Universe knows better what you need and will just make moves to get you there. This is a time to trust that you are getting into the flow or that you are in the flow and what you are ready for is coming to you.

Everything happens FOR me NOT to me.   And if we remember our power in how we experience our life, we become awakened.   That is the key to doorways of the universe. Many say that our doorways are the chakra system – primarily the Heart. 

A scientifically controlled study conducted by German researchers at the University of Kassel has shown that while the chest area of an average person emits only 20 photons of light per second, someone who meditates on their heart center and sends love and light to others emits an amazing 100,000 photons per second. That is 5000 times more than the average human being. 

Numerous studies have also shown that when these photons are infused with a loving and healing intent, their frequency and vibration increase to the point where they can literally change matter, heal disease, and transform negative events.

Only ten minutes of meditating on compassion, on kindness and love for others and you will see its effects all day.

Humanity is going through vast adjustments of the heart right now. Maintaining a foundation of love, not getting distracted, and maintaining optimism for the future is hard. The universe shows us where our compass is off, what direction we need to correct, and if we are brave enough to make those adjustments. Change our mental processes and beliefs to align with what is right for humanity. The healing of our wounds is getting confused with reinforcement of those wounds rather than change and acting with love, not fear, control, or revenge.

After leaving the fast-paced year of the dragon, and moving to the slower paced year of the Snake which is an earth sign known for its grounded, deliberate approach to life, don’t mistake this for a lack of action. It makes sense that this brain cleanse would occur at night when the brain is idle. We only use about 5-7 percent of our brains processing capacity, but somehow in our human design we’ve been constructed to be efficient in what we keep or don’t keep. Though we have capacity, it is our efficiency that seems to determine what to keep or not keep.  How does sound and vibration influence our memory. The Dragon is a mythical creature that carries many beliefs.

• The Eastern perception is that the Dragon is a protector, representing luck, creativity, progress, wealth, change, and growth. You might be familiar with images or movie scenes where the Dragon sits upon mountains of gold coins.
• The Western perception is often about a fiery mythical creature that can bring destruction or even death. 

2024 is the year of the Green Wood dragon with additional energy of, leadership and strength. The Wood Dragon year combines the characteristics of the Dragon, known for its vitality and enthusiasm, with the attributes of the wood element, symbolizing abundance, growth, flexibility, and kindness. This combination suggests a year of dynamic growth, adaptability, and positive transformation. Some believe that the wood energy can weaken the earth's energy, causing more earth disasters and conflicts. 

The Green, wood dragon energy adds a layer of mystical nuance. Green is considered a mystic color. It combines yellow (the earth) and blue (the heavens). In my view, what the dragons have shared represents fertility, life, and death in creating newness of life. Much of Pluto's energy represents death, rebirth, and the opportunity to introduce new innovative successes as Pluto sits in Aquarius for the next 20 years.
