As Brewer fans, we're used to our Brew Crew limping into the break. Since 2013, they've only seen one year where they had a winning record within the final stretch the the All-Star game. For the 2022 season, that was no different. Remember, that includes 4 straight years where the Crew have made the playoffs. Thus, don't let this slump discourage you on they season they've had thus far and what the rest of the year holds for them.

With the Brewers, and the rest of the MLB, now reaching that All-Star break, the BCCC crew [specifically Greg and Mike since Jake is a little under the weather] look to talk about how the Brewers have looked in the final weeks leading up to the break along with how they've looked in the first half of the season in general. On top of that, they dive into what their thoughts are on how the second half of the season will go, what needs to be done, and where they feel success will be found. They come to the break with a 42-33 overall record, which is still good enough for 1st in the NL Central, half a game over the Cardinals, and 5th overall in the National League.

Welcome to a new podcast dedicated to the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team and other sports topics! Hosts Greg Van Beck, Jake Rosch, and Mike Mudge introduce themselves and talk a little about the podcast and what they look to bring with every episode. They talk a bit about their friendship, their history in baseball and sports, and their passion for baseball.

The BCCC crew then dive into the Brewers performance based on the first 2 weeks of the season. This includes matchups against the Cubs in Chicago, against the Orioles in Baltimore, and two home series against the Cardinals and the Pirates. For the start of the season, what are the super early in the season trends being seen? What are the major questions/concerns people and fans have? What has been working well and some of the strong points being seen? To answer these questions, the guys really focus around the offense and starting pitching.

Following the Brewers' recap, they look to answer some thought provoking questions from a segment they call "High and Tight". Such questions include:

If you were the MLB commissioner, what one rule would you change or get rid of?
If you were to choose a group of infielders, from throughout history, to create the best and/or your favorite infield, who would be on your team? - This was taken from both the lens of a) What team/year infield? and b) What group of individual players?

To wrap everything up, the crew look ahead to the Brewers' upcoming matchups and talk about both what they want to see in their upcoming week of games and what they think they'll see in those games as well.
