Take me as an example—I recently finished my second book. Even though it took a long time to complete, I found myself dragging my feet when it came to actually promoting it.

After some soul-searching, I realized I was still deep down thinking, "This could be better." That mindset really affected how I showed up.

So, my task was to shift my thinking and instead tell myself:

"People love the way I write."
or
"People will find this book super helpful."

With these new thoughts, I found myself changing my cover photo, talking about my book in my podcast episodes, and taking action with confidence.
