 What is Holotropic Breathwork?

 Holotropic breathing, also known as holotropic breathwork (HB), is a practice that involves managing and speeding up your breathing patterns in order to influence your mental, emotional, and physical states. In the 1970s, psychiatrists Stanislav and Christina Grof created an unusual New Age approach to achieve altered states of consciousness (without the use of drugs) as a potential therapeutic aid.
 
 A Message From Nicole: 

If you’re here, you’re most likely struggling to build a loving relationship with yourself. And before we dive into how I can help you, I want to share a little bit of my journey with you.

I too have struggled most of my life to build a loving relationship with myself. I’ve spent so much time searching for validation outside of myself, constantly trying to be something I’m not, constantly hustling for my worth, constantly playing small.

This all stemmed from one undeniable truth: I didn’t love myself or know how to cultivate love within myself...I didn’t even know where to begin. This lack of self-love led me down a tumultuous road-- a road of numbing out and attempting to escape myself every chance I got. I fought a long battle of eating disorders and addiction. I then entered an industry that only exacerbated all of this. I may have looked okay on the outside, but inside I was slowly dying. Inside I was exhausted, disconnected, empty, and unwilling to face any of my feelings.I knew I wanted more out of this life, I knew I wanted to be of service, and somewhere deep down in my soul, I knew I had it in me...I just had absolutely no idea how to get there.
 
 I realized that I had to go deeper into my own internal experience and heal the parts of myself that were driving the internal pain; I decided that in order to finally be at peace with myself I had to finally face the parts of myself that I had been avoiding for my whole life. I've been on that beautiful journey ever since.

Inside I was exhausted, disconnected, empty, and unwilling to face any of my feelings.I knew I wanted more out of this life, I knew I wanted to be of service, and somewhere deep down in my soul, I knew I had it in me...I just had absolutely no idea how to get there.

I realized that I had to go deeper into my own internal experience and heal the parts of myself that were driving the internal pain; I decided that in order to finally be at peace with myself I had to finally face the parts of myself that I had been avoiding for my whole life. I've been on that beautiful journey ever since.

My darkness led me to the light. This was the point where I began to take my life into my own hands and take action. I decided to get completely sober from all drugs and alcohol.

I decided to get outside help for my eating disorder and get healthy from a physical standpoint. But I found, even by doing all these things that my internal relationship with myself was still haunting me. I still had insecurities, I still suffered greatly from anxiety, still had the deep-rooted fears, still hated my body, and still continued to play small. I realized that I had to go deeper into my own internal experience and heal the parts of myself that were driving the internal pain; I decided that in order to finally be at peace with myself I had to finally face the parts of myself that I had been avoiding for my whole life.

  2012 was a pivotal year for many energy workers and that was also the case for Evelyn. During 2012 Evelyn began her 7-year journey of healing her body from debilitating eczema through dietary and lifestyle changes while also becoming more in-tune with her spirituality. This is when she decided to dive deeper into the art of Astrology and magical practices. Experiencing her first past life regression session in 2015, her passion to work with the unconscious mind became activated after experiencing the healing affects that one hypnosis session had on her being.
 
 With a BA in Photography and a previous professional life as a photo retoucher, Evelyn began creating custom astrology birth chart prints in 2015. Evelyn began offering astrology readings in 2015 while she transitioned away from her full-time job at a fashion studio in Pasadena, CA working as their head retoucher, studio assistant and marketing coordinator.In 2016 Evelyn quit her secure, full-time job with benefits to pursue what she endearingly called her “retirement plan”: Astrology. Attending weekly astrologymeet ups in a haunted old Hollywood mansion, owned and operated by the late Caroll Righter who was Ronald Reagan’s personal Astrologer, Evelyn learned techniques and skills from seasoned 40+ year astrology teachers. While living in LA Evelyn also attended every NCGR’s monthly meet up along with the Santa Monica’s monthly meet up religiously for the duration she lived in LA.   Evelyn began working professionally 2017, which is also when she made the move to the beautiful Mojave Desert. During his senior season, Rhodes threw for more than 1,600 yards and ran for another 850. He was also selected Metro Player of the year and first-team All-state in basketball of which he led his team to the 6A title game. About Evelyn: 

Evelyn is a Korean American hoppa (half Asian), daughter to a Korean immigrant mother and Vietnam war veteran father. Living in between two worlds, she searched for answers in the divine, following the light of the stars and guidance from esoteric arts. 

2012 was a pivotal year for many energy workers and that was also the case for Evelyn. During 2012 Evelyn began her 7-year journey of healing her body from debilitating eczema through dietary and lifestyle changes while also becoming more in-tune with her spirituality. Attending weekly astrologymeet ups in a haunted old Hollywood mansion, owned and operated by the late Caroll Righter who was Ronald Reagan’s personal Astrologer, Evelyn learned techniques and skills from seasoned 40+ year astrology teachers. While living in LA Evelyn also attended every NCGR’s monthly meet up along with the Santa Monica’s monthly meet up religiously for the duration she lived in LA. Niki is a multi-modality Energy Healer, Spiritual Mentor, Reiki Master Teacher, EFT Practitioner, Subconscious Healer, RYT Yoga + Meditation instructor, Earth Spiritualist, Intuitive, and certified Feng Shui specialist.

A born mystic, and highly sensitive empath, Niki began her energetics journey when she was a young child secretly studying Earth spirituality and crystal healing. After a kundalini awakening at the age of 13, Niki continued to explore many esoteric paths. It wasn't until 2010, in Yoga Teacher Training, that she experienced a Soul-deep remembering. This was sparked by the philosophies and practices of Chakra Healing--which Niki continues to passionately teach today. This life changing season of her life seeded the blossoming for 12 years of continued education and certifications in the Healing Arts, including reiki, emotional freedom techniques, therapeutic imagery, and hypnotherapy. Today, Niki bridges spirituality, science, and art into inspirational sacred space that is woven into everything that she co-creates with her clients and The Great Mystery.

Her name is derived from the Sanskrit word for “to cross” as she helps humans cross safely from the day of their birth to their last. She is also revered as a meditation deity.
