Speaking about the Christianity Crisis in Nigeria with Rev. Johnnie Moore

On this episode Pamela sits down to talk to an old friend Reverend Johnnie Moore. Johnnie was previously a commissioner for the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom and president of Congress of Christian Leaders and is an American evangelical leader who with Rabbi Abraham Cooper wrote about the Christianity Crisis in Nigeria in the book The Next Jihad.

After a trip to Africa and first hand hearing about the stories of all of the persecuted Christians in Nigeria, Johnnie and Rabbi Abraham came to the realization that they needed to tell the world about this. Johnnie talks with Pamela about these stories and shares that the most important things we can do about this is share and spread these happenings to fellow Christians. Today I had the privilege of speaking to the founder of Project Mindful, Jacquie O'Malley. We dive in on developing the tools to teach humans how to love themselves and how to focus on the here and now. Learning that once we recognize, understand and manage our own emotions, we the have the ability to recognize and influence the emotions of others. This podcast felt like a therapy session and I am so grateful I got to speak to a fellow yogi that is doing so much to help not just the minds of our youth, but also the teachers that are inspiring them.

A chat with Doctor Caliendo about his journey through life, that brought him to a life of strong faith

Dr C, a noted Vietnam war hero, and author of the book "making a believer out of a doubter," started his medical career as a Triage Officer in the Vietnam war after only medical school and a year of a rotating internship. He always liked the ER but was in now way prepared for what he was seeing. After a week of seeing over 200 mamed kids, he was sure that he was supposed to be there but continued to hope and wish for the days to get brighter. After the war Dr. C. had a tragic accident involving a tractor on his farm and became paralyzed. Dr Pamela and Dr C. talk about how in his darkest hour he became a believer and hope truly came into his life.
