I Failed Out Of College - The Power of BOUNCING BACK after FAILURE

The cat is out of the bag - I am not perfect, have not had success in a straight line, and I fail. A LOT. The biggest failure in my life (so far) is failing out of college after 2 years. In that moment, I was DEVASTATED, ASHAMED, and DEPRESSED. It was really hard to see any positives in that situation.

However time heals a lot of wounds, and as I persevered I came to understand WHY I failed, what LESSONS it taught me, and HOW I could become a better person and leader because of my failures.

No one is perfect, and we all fail at times. It is how we BOUNCE BACK that defines who we are. In this episode, I tell the story of how I failed out of college, and what lessons that experience has taught me.

I task you to love HARD, and to call someone RIGHT NOW to tell them you love them. Life is too damn short to hold that inside.

Find things that take you to your HAPPY place. No one should live to work. Use your career and your income to build a life you are PASSIONATE about!

I HATE Performance Reviews. I hate giving them. I hate getting them. They are SO uncomfortable. But as a leader, I need to be able to give and receive criticism in a constructive and professional way. So today's episode focuses on the importance of being objective, and taking the review process seriously.

It's ok to feel your feelings. Just don't dwell there!
