I pulled a massive hit in a Blaster Box. Topps Heritage is always a great product but always tough to pull a great card. 

I was able to talk with Wyatt Nadeau back in 2023 and due to his fantastic first start for Vanderbilt baseball last night I thought it would be a good idea to give a brief update on Wyatt and how his Vanderbilt career is going. Go Commodores!

Mason Fluharty of the Toronto Blue Jays made a trade for his card and sent me some incredible memorabilia. 

Great pulls and one card leads to a future trade with a MLB Player. 

Took a risk and made a trade on Veriswap. I’m happy with what I got but let me know how you think I did. 

Liam did some research on a few cards in his collection that he felt should get graded. After some research on EBay and recent sales he came up with the justification for why he was sending the ones he ultimately chose. The point of grading a card is to protect them but, also to make it easier to sell a card if need be. 

Liam received another binder this year for EVERY single Red Sox player card but, this year was for 1993. Meticulously curated!!  

Another year another eclectic collection of cards from Allen & Ginter. Liam also reveals his Tony Gwynn knowledge. Hint: Not his strong suit.

Bought a box of Bowman Inception 2023 from the Dugout in Keene, NH for a GREAT price and Liam had a monster hit. 

Liam rips open a hobby box of 2024 Topps Pro Debut. This is one of Liam’s favorite products due to the amount of packs you get and the autographs per box. 

Ideal product when you want to open packs. Lots of cards, fairly inexpensive and lots of variations.  A memorabilia or auto card in every blaster box.

The downside of getting an older box of cards is getting a nice redemption autograph that you can no longer redeem. 

On a trip to Connecticut we made a trip to make sure we visited Fearless Cards in Granby, CT. Great shop, great selection and friendly staff. Bought a few items but, will definitely return if we are back down there.

We open a couple blaster boxes of the newly released Topps 2024. Great new design and the first look at Elly De La Cruz rookie cards. 

Liam talks about Topps new product Stadium Club 2023. Great looking cards and plenty of hits. 

Liam opens a box of Topps Tier One which contains a single pack with 2 Autographs and a player memorabilia card.  These high end products can be pretty hit or miss. This short episode was done during the Christmas break. 

While up in Maine a large immaculately organized binder was dropped off to Liam’s Grandfather in Maine to give to Liam. We weren’t told who gave it to him but, he knew Liam appreciated baseball cards and gave it as a gift.  

Liam bought a box of NBA Hoops 1990/91.  So, many great players and always fun pulling Michael Jordan cards. 

We make a trip to the Dugout in Keene, NH to redeem some Topps MVP buyback cards and Liam uses that credit to get a hobby box of Allen & Ginter 2023. 

While up in Manchester, NH Liam and Anna make a visit to New England Sportscards in Amherst, NH.  Great shop and Liam managed to get a great hit in a box of 2023 Pro Debut.

Liam is able to have a sit down conversation with Wyatt Nadeau. Wyatt, is a top nationwide HS prospect and part of the heralded class of 2025.  If Liam could have taken the entire day to sit with him he would have.  

Liam meets up with Sean and Collin for a Hangar Box Battle.  The episode runs longer than most but, they had too much fun to edit it down without missing something. 

Liam and his friend Corbin have a box battle with Topps Chrome 2023 and Bowman 2023. They talk about the cards and what they like. Liam has been wanting to start doing box battles and this is the start!

While up in Manchester we decide to check out Quinn’s Trading Cards in Manchester, NH. Nice, organized and friendly owner. 

While up in Maine, Anna and Liam explore Don’s Sports Cards in Portland, Maine and talk about this great spot. 

During April vacation we took a trip to Florida and made sure we visited All Sports Collectibles. 

On a way to an 11U Baseball Tournament we made a stop at Hall of Fame of Leominster. Incredible amount of boxes to choose from. 

After an incredibly long wait for a kid eager to get his cards back Liam opens up his cards from PSA and talks about the grades. 

With 1 hangar box of Baseball Cards left at Target Liam gets lucky with a 1 in 747 pack hit. 

On a rainy day with Baseball Games cancelled we made a visit to Brattleboro and of course Lucky Lansdowne and Liam had INCREDIBLE luck in a pack. We highly recommend this store and the owner is always incredibly friendly. 

Liam talks about his first Box Break experience. He used Chomp Breaks for Jarren Duran and Hobby Legends for Marcelo Mayer. Great experience for Liam and he was able to get some great cards. 

Liam no longer has to ask when his SGC graded cards are coming back. We used GotBaseballCards to send in cards to SGC and PSA. Liam and I were both very happy with the results and the process.  Great communication from GotBaseballCards team.

Liam had an early release from school so we decided to head up to Keene NH to check out the Dugout. Liam got a couple cards and some packs.  

Liam opens a box of Bobby Witt Jr Crown Collection and gives a brief update on the grading process. 

Liam discusses the places he went and the cards he got during school vacation week. A box of 1989 bowman baseball and a bunch of singles. 

Liam and I pick out a handful of cards to get graded. We discuss why we chose them and where we are sending them and the return times. We will be using the Sportscard Investor to send them in. 

We took a trip up to Brattleboro, VT and ended up exploring a sports memorabilia store Lucky Lansdowne. Lots of great historical autograph items and a few cards to go through.  Fun family visit. 

We talk about some purchases we recently made at Rock Ridge and we also discuss a competition about which card will increase in value by the start of Baseball season. 

Liam opened a box of Call of the Captain: Derek Jeter. Even though this box only contained one pack it was pretty interesting. 

We had the pleasure of exploring this location in Northfield, MA. Tons of unopened wax boxes, binders and boxes full of cards from any sport or hobby. 

Liam opens a box of Topps Heritage Minors 2022. With a special guest this week to discuss one of Liam’s favorite products. 

Liam opened a box of Allen and Ginter and even though he only got 2 of the 3 guaranteed hits it was still a fun box to open. 

Liam gets a 1 in 205 pack hit which makes a trip to Manchester for Catching Camp even more memorable. 

We purchased a Topps Fire Hobby Box right before we left the NECARDSHOW and let’s just say that Liam pulled the best card he has ever pulled. Incredible cards and great designs. 

Liam and I go to Springfield, Massachusetts to visit the New England Card Show. Great experience and some excellent deals. 

What are they?  Liam opened 6 “Hot Packs” and discusses what the packs from Topps Heritage 2022, Topps 2022 Series 1 & 2 and 2022 Donruss had in them. 

Liam discusses the 2022 Gypsy Queen. He is a huge fan of this years design. Not a great box overall but, enjoyable to look at. 

We took a break due to Little League but, getting back into it. Liam discusses a box of Topps Heritage that we got at The Card Vault at Patriots Place. 

Liam finally gets his hands on some Topps Heritage 2022. Although, no big cards were pulled Liam was happy with the design and look of the 1973 card format. 

Liam was fortunate enough to sign up for one of the Sport Card Investor Kids pack and he discusses what is inside. He was in such a hurry to look at the cards he read the letter afterwards and we had to add that. The cards were great but, a signed letter from the Sports Card Investor!  It made his day. 

Liam talks about his thoughts on the Topps 2022 Series 1 baseball cards. We also discuss the upcoming New England Card Show which we will be going to and what he expects from his first card show experience. 

Liam has been wanting to talk about his 70s and 80s Star Wars action figures. So, he briefly discusses what he likes and who he has.

The best value and actual cards of value in a box we have opened so far. 

Liam was looking to get Blaze Jordan, Spencer Torkelson and Wander Franco and did quite well. Sometimes you are short an autograph and sometimes you get lucky. This was a lucky box. 

Liam gives his thoughts on the High Number series and his highlights of what he pulled in the box.  Pulling an on card auto and some key rookies. 

Liam opens his first box of Trilogy by Upper Deck. I had him mark down a couple cards he was hoping to pull and he hit the biggest one. 

What is the ideal card design front and back?  Liam compares cards from various years and picks his favorite design. Sadly, 1987 Topps does not make the cut.

Tatis, Guerrero, Acuna…..great cards all around and Liam pulled his first redemption card which confused him thoroughly. 

By far the most popular and most opened set by Liam. It is the line that got him into collecting and me for having interest in cards again.

With Dad away on a Fly Fishing trip Liam and Anna (Mom) discuss a recent baseball game and talk about baseball cards in general. 

Liam beat the odds and pulled 3 autos and managed to get nearly all of the players he was hoping for. Great look and design. 

Soooo many variations and Liam pulled his first 1 of 1.
