The end of the semester has arrived, which means it's time to close off season 14 of The Prospector Podcast. This year, the podcast turned 11 years old! We celebrated the love for our show by hosting various members from the staff, special guests including athletic director Jim Senter, and we end off the season by talking to former World Cup referee and El Paso native, Jair Marrufo.

With the World Cup just weeks away, Marrufo talks about what it's like officiating on the world's biggest stage, and discusses recent developments made in the game of soccer.

Before Marrufo takes center stage though, we pick up on student media and publication's two graduating seniors, Sofia Sierra and Fred Kepfield! They discuss their journey through college and journalism, reminisce about their favorite moments, and even create new ones in this final episode!

Then, Warner Brothers ambassador at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) joins us to discuss the development of the program and future events on the horizon!

Wesley Lawrence from the Borderland Rainbow Center speaks about the resources the center provides for the El Paso community. Erik Acosta shares his experience about coming about and being a part of the LGBTQ+ community. It is important to remember that Pride month is not celebrated in June but also year-round.
