I first met Harry at the Shelby Blondell singer-songwriter showcase at Manor Mill and quickly realized his passion for writing original music.

Their latest single, “Mess We Leave Behind,” bridges introspection with a life well-lived, knowing a life well-lived often means taking chances and that taking chances can get messy.

Today on the show I’m sitting down with three artists with very different musical backgrounds with a common thread, songwriting. Allie Post, the youngest of the three, has a folksy approach and has just started to climb the mountain of local rock n’ roll legends. Josiah Orsie is already one of those icons. He is an alternative rocker, best known for his beloved, innovative, moody rock act, Tears of Mars.

Another legend, E. Joseph, has been playing music since he knew there was music. He has decades of experience and a lot of stories to tell; it’ll be my challenge to keep our interview to 15 minutes.

All of them bring a perspective to the show that is uniquely their own in a timeline where music has changed dramatically. In the words of Tom Keifer, “The more things change, the more they stay the same.”

Not to fear, she’s still been working behind the scenes on some soon-to-be released original music with her partner in music and in life, Scott Von Ensign. Whether in voice, instrument or written word, her influence on the Baltimore music scene has been unmistakable, which has been touted by some of the area’s best and most well-known.

Josh Clark is like a fine wine or polished metal. You’ve probably heard more from Josh Clark through his music than anything you’d find splashed across his social media pages; he’s a ‘Say less, do more’ kind of guy.

Josh is more than a rock n’ roll frontman – he’s a thinker, a father and a husband who takes his art seriously. He’s been the co-frontman of the local super group Vestascension with former MOGGER Brian Wade, lead vocalist for the heavy riff-driven outfit Seventh Seal, but also spends his time producing some Baltimore’s own aspiring muses at Dark Hollow studio.
