Liberty Media has done a lot to expand and grow F1 over the last few years, but the FIA malfeasance, ineptitude and corruption keep getting in the way of creating the ultimate global fan sport.

The cost cap rumors are true and Red Bull went over budget for 2021.

Red Bull cheated, but will that actually be punished.

Liberty Media also sees its 2022 season marred by an almost catastrophic Japanese Grand Prix.

Pierre Gasly was lucky to miss a tractor and marshal who were inexplicably on track.

Max Verstappen gets another podium and stays ahead of the championship race, while Sergio Perez gets knocked out early.

Don’t look now, but Lewis Hamilton finally has a comparable car to Ferrari and Red Bull. Expect fireworks.

Mick Schumacher takes it to Lewis Hamilton (and pretty much everyone else) as he finally asserts himself on the track.

Red Bull comes to Imola and dominates the weekend! Super Max is back in the title hunt after a weekend where he silenced the critics. Sergio Perez continues his dream season with a podium as well.

Ferrari had a chance to widen the gap on the Drivers and Constructors titles but Carlos Sainz’s bad luck resurfaced at the worst time and Charles LeClerc tried to get too much and almost lost it all.

George Russel was a bright spot for the Mercedes team that is struggling to find answers for the W13’s performance woes. Lewis Hamilton has a weekend to forget trying to help figure out Merc’s problems.

Episode 20; Belgian Travesty; After a brilliant quali, a rain shortened “race” robs fans of a true F1 experience.

Well today is a vent session. After a brilliant qualifying at Spa-Francorchamps which saw Max take pole and George Russell in the front row, rain forces the FIA to abandon the race, but not after meeting the bear minimum so that the results will stand.

So we have a tighter championship lead between Verstappen and defending champion Lewis Hamilton. George gets his first podium, Mazepin gets fastest lap, Daniel Ricciardo finishes 4th and Lando Norris has to rue crashing in Q3 while challenging for pole.

We will talk about how F1 really should have a better contingency to deal with bad weather. Driver safety is important, but the fan experience should be cherished too.

Styrian Grand Prix recap

Red Bull continues its dominance and Max Verstappen stretches his championship lead as the Dutchman wins in dominating fashion at the Red Bull Ring in Austria

Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes will have to use talent and rely on luck in order to keep up and pass Red Bull as they clearly don’t have pace.

Valtteri Bottas mixes it up with Sergio Perez as both drivers try to lock in on podiums and top 3 finishes.

Lando Norris carries McLaren past Ferrari but Daniel Ricciardo’s bad day leaves points on the table.

Ferrari should have had a bad day, but great pace and driving by Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc put them in better spirits.

Alpine had a great outing with Fernando Alonso, but Frenchman Esteban Ocon had yet another day to forget.

Pierre Gasly also looks to move on after a lap one bump ends his race. Yuki Tsunoda overcomes a penalty to get more points as his rookie season blossoms.

And George Williams once again runs in the points, only to be handed a cruel hand by fate.

We also talk Formula 2, Formula 3, and the W Series first race in 700 days!

French Grand Prix recap

What a race at Circuit Paul Ricard!

Red Bull delivered a masterclass of its own this week with both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez getting on the podium. Max wins and extends his championship lead ahead of rival Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis and Valtteri Bottas might not be too happy with their Mercedes strategists after several calls left both drivers behind their Red Bull rivals.

Mclaren came out swinging with both Lando Norris and Daniel Riccardo looking racy.

Ferrari came out bland and had its worst performance of the season so far.

Alpine had a great outing with Fernando Alonso, but Frenchman Esteban Ocon had a day to forget at his home race.

Pierre Gasly, on the other hand had a great day along with this rookie teammate, Yuki Tsunoda.

Aston Martin looks to have its early season struggles behind as both Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll end up in the points!

We head to Circuit Paul Richard and its colorful runoffs as Formula 1 heads to France!

After a chaotic Azerbaijan race, both Mercedes and Red Bull look to overcome the heartbreak that befell both Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.

No heartbreak for Sergio Perez, and the Mexican driver looks to show he is no B driver. Ferrari is coming off back-to-back poles thanks to Charles Leclerc but will they be able to transform that into podiums?

McClaren was looking to compete for 3rd this season but didn’t expect to be looking up at Ferrari. How will Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo respond?

Alpine locks up Esteban Ocon for a long-term deal. A French driver on a French team heading into a French race weekend? I think Pierre Gasly will have a bit of a chip on his shoulder now.

Azerbaijan Grand Prix Recap

Where to begin with Baku. The Formula 1 race in Azerbaijan is known for craziness and this year was probably the craziest of all.

The championship leaders Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton finished out of the points as tire (tyre) failure and a mental mistake cost both dearly.

Are the Pirelli tires not up to par?

Sergio Perez ends all talk of a Red Bull B driver jinx with a sensational win with his car on its last legs.

Sebastian Vettel has two great drives in a row and gets Aston Martin its first podium.

Pierre Gasly lands on the podium and Yuki Tsunoda gets a points haul as Alpha Tauri gets its best result of the year.

McLaren gets double points but also wonders what could have been if not for a penalty for Lando Norris and a crash for Daniel Ricciardo during qualification.

The team also mourns the loss of longtime shareholder Mansour Ojjeh.

Ferrari looked like champs with Charles Leclerc on pole and Carlos Sainz but dropping places once the lights went out.

Monaco Grand Prix Recap:

This week we talk winners and losers of the Monaco Grand Prix

Max Verstappen had a lot to prove and did with an amazing dominate performance that puts in in the championship lead.

Mercedes picks the wrong strategy and has a terrible pitstop costing both Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.

Ferrari had an amazing weekend until right before the race with an unfortunate break for Charles Leclerc but redeemed some fortune with Carlos Sainz taking a podium.

Mclaren looked amazing with that Gulf livery, and Lando Norris celebrated his contract extension with a podium, but Daniel Ricciardo still isn’t producing like many thought he would.

Aston Martin came to play and Sebastian Vettel used a little guile and a lot of experience to become Driver of the Day.
