I have recently been contemplating what it really means to be feminine and if there is an actual way to “act like a lady”. In my journey of self discovery and deciding who I am in this version of myself, I’ve also been considering how that affects my relationship and if it should at all. In this week’s episode me and ZAY talk the Bible and practice ways gender plays apart and when it probably shouldn’t.

What’s up Royals?!

One day I saw a sign that said “our kids have to live here” at a protest for global warming. It was held by a child. That was kind of eye opening to me because it implied that we don’t care about our children’s children. It was a cry for us to do something. It made me wonder, what are we doing for the next generations? Are we making an impact or are we too busy stacking to be sure we live a life full of experiences and Instagram worthy accomplishments? Are we setting a stage for our kids and putting aside riches for them to inherit after we are gone?

My brother ZAY is back on the podcast sharing perspective. I also let you in on my secret weapon on this weight loss journey and what I think about kids being active in church ministries. All of this goes down in the episode and I can’t wait to hear what you think!

It's no secret the church has a ways to go when it comes to discussing sex and sexuality. It doesn't seem we hear anything more than, "Don't have sex?" And if we do, it's typically more of the same. No education about abstinence and definitely not marital intimacy. In this episode I am joined by my good friend Zay and we discuss ways we can help do better for the next generation.

What's Up Royals?!

Have you ever felt like in order to be accepted or seen as valuable you had to prove your worth? Maybe it was keeping loyalties to a person in spite of how they treated you. Perhaps jumping out of a plane to take a dare even though you were scared nearly to death. Often times it's staying in toxic relationships just so you can say, you didn't get a divorce. All of these are real life examples of how we over do it for the approval of others. In addition, there have been false prophesies spoken, mismanaged giftings and delayed obedience that has brought our fidelity to Christ to question.

On today's episode I encourage you to keep your commitment to God even if it means disapproval or grumblings from the people around you. Cause if you know who you are in Christ, you've really got nothing to prove.

Early in the episode I offer a new way to use a popular app and give a very unpopular opinion on a household staple.

What's up Royals?

On my weight loss journey sometimes it can feel like if I don't do every single thing absolutely right, I've failed. Like 10% of wrong equals 100% of failure. Not only that, but sometimes I struggle with if it's even worth it to try because if i'm bound to fail than what's the point of trying? Have you ever had a similar feeling? Like 99.5 won't do? There was a time when this was 1000% true for anyone who believed in God. Over 600 commandments needed to be followed completely, everyday for all of life in order to make it to heaven. Then came Jesus. This episode is heavy on Grace and why it is vital in our relationship with God.

Of course, I also bring the fun, so I have a seasoning you have to try and an unusual way to use the average photo album!

It's with deep sadness but profound trust in God that I let you know my mother, Robin Johnson was called out of labor to reward! She was a Royal, sent here on assignment and she's been retired. No matter how much we love her, God loves her best!

Real Queens don't die, they multiply. My mom left 3 children (Asa Murphy Pia J Jones and Edward Frances) and 6 grandchildren (2 still baking but loved the same). Please spread your prayers to cover them all as we have to continue our assignments until our job is done.

This final episode of the season is a tribute in her memory, and it is fitting for such a time as this. As all who loved her need faith for the journey of farewell.

THIS is the promise of the Lord. That His word will come to pass, and He desires to tell us so that we will know the expected end before the end is near. The God thing is plan A. Everything we've ever dreamt up in our wild imagination is plan b at best. However, the greatest plan is the one God has and it is full and rich and adds no sorrow. This year, before you set out to imagine what your mind can fathom, why don't you get vision/answers from God concerning your life and let that be the plan you pursue with your whole might.

Chosen With a Choice

I remember in elementary PE classes I hated when it was sports day. For a few reasons, one I was always a chunky kid from my youth. I got a growth spirt and spread somethings out. I didnt recognize the blessing in it and ended up gaining to become chunkier as an adult but that's another story for another time. The biggest problem I had with sports day was the team captains. The team captains got the opportunity to pick their teams one person at a time and each of those people being chosen didn't have a single choice in the matter. You could tell by some of the faces that were made and as they walked to their side or who got chosen last. The beautiful thing about God is no matter how long you've been in relationship with Him and no matter how many opportunities He gives us, we always have a choice. He has vision for what He wants to happen but ultimately the decision to agree and follow is yours alone. This week's episode I explore the responsibility and the consequences of "Free Will".

I remember when I first got called into ministry at the tender age of 16. I had confirmation after confirmation that I was supposed to preach the Gospel and spread the good news. One thing was for certain, I was not interested in answering the main line while I was attending high school. I remember feeling like I was going to miss out on so much! I knew I would lose friends and there would be things I just wouldn't be comfortable doing. Now as an adult, it is still sometimes hard for me to accept there are things I can't do and places I can't go. I love my life, but sometimes, I just wanna be "down", if you know what I mean. This week's episode is all about why we as Christ followers are picked out to be set-apart.

"forgive and forget". I'm like, how do we just all of a sudden get selective memory or a strong case of amnesia. Now, I think I understand. We have to forgive like God does, meaning, to not hold it against us. He knows it happened, but the debt has been erased. The consequence is no longer; it's been covered. But my favor will not be taken from him." We are not free from correction just like we will never be free from God's love! We are free INSIDE of His love!
