We know it's something a lot us of are feeling but why? To answer this we explore the world right now: all of the things that have contributed to us being burnt out and how much the pandemic has contributed to us being burnt out. We openly share about our experiences of how the pandemic has affected all of our lives such as how the inconsistencies of the COVID restrictions from world leaders has affected our ability to have a life, thus playing a part in us being burnt out because there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
We also discuss how social issues and things happening outside of our lives contributes to being burnt because there seems to be no break. Of course there are some laugh out loud moments, some brain mush pauses, and serious questions around how damn hard adulting can be.
Hope you enjoy the episode and remember to be kind to yourself.
Look out for Part 2, coming next week!

Disclaimer: This episode can be triggering due to the topic: Sexual Violence.
In Episode 5 part 1, we react to a Supreme Court ruling regarding a sexual assault ruling in Minnesota. The Article by The New Your Times: "Court Overturns Sex Crime Conviction Because Victim Was ‘Voluntarily Intoxicated".
We gave our raw feelings and opinions regarding the ruling and its impact on the topic of sexual violence. At times during this episode, we were speechless, because we literally had nothing to say, because we just couldn't make sense of the court's ruling. To the best of our knowledge, we dig deep into the impact of sexual violence, and how it is considered gender-based violence. B, Jojo, and I talked about the normalization of sexual culture and behaviour, and how women are the ones that are asked to be responsible, but men are not. We also talked about the influence of the laws that are in place regarding Sexual Violence and Sexual assault. There is a lot to unpack in this episode, and even more coming your way in the second part, which will be released next Tuesday.
We hope you took care of yourself while listening. And as also, remember to do your research as we are not experts and these are our opinion about the topic.
Speak Out Against Sexual Violence.

Jo even takes us down memory lane talking about vaccines in the past and how they have helped eradicate some serious illness we have had in the past (like when was the last time you heard about iron lungs?!).
