Welcome back to Sloshed! In preparation for everything opening up again here is another portion of Sloshed. This episode features Ayesha, Esther and Millie and we discuss a range of things from adoption to Only Fans. This episode is the most chaotic yet and probably the most fun (don't tell the others).

Episode 7!! This week it is the age old question of to Uni or not to Uni? With me to discuss our two different post-school lives is Eve, we talk about her decision to not go to uni and her decision to do open university. We briefly track our friendship and school experiences and how despite their similarities we chose to use our schooling in different ways. We talk of the pressures that come from not going to Uni and the prejudice that comes after this decision. Eve breaks down the importance of retail work and how moving out of the family home with her boyfriend has changed her life.

This Podcast Episode was recorded over FaceTime to ensure that government regulations were listened to. This episode like all of the other's is unscripted. Eve has spoken her truth about her life. For the first episode of my new special sub-series, my housemates and I have come together for a few drinks and a natter. We talk about things ranging from school pressures to being a womxn on a night out. We talk of Meghan Markle (pre Oprah interview) and the British press, along with the most recent film we watched and what a night out in London is like as a student. Basically, we just turned the microphone on and carried on like normal. This series is an insight into the conversations my friends and I have when a drink is placed into our hands.

As we live together, this episode was recorded in person. It is, as always, unscripted.

Living with OCD

Welcome to Episode 5 of Our Terms! This episode has Bea Walker on (no they're not related to me) to discuss their life with OCD. We pull apart the harmful stereotyping of the condition and society's ease in making OCD a joke. Bea navigates me on the internal journey in which they live 24/7 and how OCD is more than just it's media representation. I am also educated on: the different forms; what Bea find's triggering; how they handle being triggered; and Bea's journey.

This Podcast was recorded over FaceTime to ensure that government regulations were listened to. This episode, like all episode's, is unscripted and everything that Bea and I say is genuine. Bea is incredibly frank in their delivery and it is through this that I have learned the most about OCD from this episode then I have in my 21 years. Romany Representation

Episode 4 of Our Terms is an insightful and necessary conversation with Millie Cooper. Millie is a 24 year old Romany "Gypsy" and we have spent our time discussing her life and the lack of representation of the Romany culture. We delve into prejudice and why it is important to bolster Romany "Gypsy" voices rather than steal and commodify them. Millie also talks about her upcoming documentary featuring Romany women and their lives. The documentary also exemplifies how Millie's life has influenced her to speak up within the public domain. Millie lays out the significance of recognising her culture beyond the scope of historic labelling and details why it is important to not put her heritage into a category.

This podcast was recorded in accordance with the UK government's laws during this pandemic. Again, this podcast is unscripted. Millie's openness has truly amazed me and her honest and frank words have educated me on subject's I was unaware of. I hope the same will go for everyone listening, as brushing this culture under the carpet is no longer acceptable. Our Terms for you all listening is to leave your prejudice at the door. Remain open and understand that the racism within society is no longer acceptable in any way. Millie and her truth are real: listen, learn and care.

Life with Eczema

Episode 3 people! This episode follows the journey of Amelia and her life long experience of living with eczema and how her flare up's affect and bolster her. Amelia is 20 year's old and has been through many trials and tribulations with her skin condition, however, she talks me through the importance of living life thinking of the positives. We compare our lives in regard to the conditions we live with that are beyond our control and what really encourages us to not feel restricted.

Once again, this is recorded through FaceTime; ensuring we stick to government regulations during this pandemic. As always this is unscripted and truly open/honest. Amelia has been very raw in this episode and whilst the subject matter is different to the last two episodes it is important to remember the strength in appearing on this podcast. EPISODE 2!! In this episode I have another friend, Dani, joining me to discuss her experience as a bisexual. We also delve into my experience and modern day notions surrounding female sexuality and how it has impacted our experiences and decisions within relationships. Dani is a 21 year old English and Drama student and talks of her confidence and emotions within both heteronormative and homosexual relationships. There is talk of sex within this episode, you have been warned.

Again, this is recorded through FaceTime to abide by social distancing rules but is again completely unscripted. Dani is completely open and honest and this episode is a credit to her ability to be able to share private moments with you. Being Non-Binary

In the very first episode of this brand new podcast, I engage in a conversation about being non-binary. My guest Molly Rafferty and I discuss what it means to be non-binary and how does identifying as non-binary impact your identity when you externally present a, stereotypical, female silhouette. Molly is a 23 year old fine art and art history student at Goldsmiths, like me they are in their final year of university. Together we explore life as a non-binary student and artist: how does this impact Molly's role in society? What are the experiences of a non-binary person in a largely cis gendered society? What does Molly do when they are misgendered or feel ignored?

As this was recorded through Skype and FaceTime there are sound issues, however this conversation is still unscripted and natural. Everything mentioned is real and raw and Molly has felt brave enough to share their vital story with me. Our Terms for you listening is to be respectful and understanding.
