Our dear friends Bryce & Emily join us to share their story in the light of the story of the Prodigal son, his older brother and their loving father.  After spending years striving after the knowledge of God, He brought Bryce & Emily to a place where they could experience His love.

After the crucifixion, Mary is frantically searching for her Lord Jesus at the tomb, but he's not there.  She asks everyone she encounters, "where have you taken him?", even Jesus himself!  When Jesus says her name, "Mary" she responds and is immediately reunited with her savior.  

Pilate interviewed Jesus and found no guilt in him, yet he allowed him to be crucified.  The two men crucified alongside Jesus each responded very differently to their encounter with him.  The Roman Centurion carrying out the crucifixion, in the end, acknowledged Jesus was the Son of God.  

All these guys encountered Jesus in his last days and had to decide, what will I do with this Jesus?  We all have to come to that decision at one point or another.

Mary was a woman who sat at the feet of Jesus and listened to his words.  The culture of the day (and maybe even today) would have condemned her for it.  According to her sister Mary's role, as a woman, was to be busy helping with the preparations not listening to teaching.  Jesus, however, said Mary had chosen the good part, and it wouldn't be taken away from her.

Jesus healed this man after a lifetime of blindness.  The crowds and religious leaders demanded an explanation.  He didn't get pulled into their debate.  He simply testified, "I was blind, but now I see."  

"For God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him."  - John 3:17

This woman was caught by merciless men in an act punishable by death.  They brought her to Jesus to entrap him and condemn her.  Jesus dealt with these men in a mysterious way, but whatever He communicated to them caused them to drop their rocks and walk away.  Jesus asks her, "who is there to condemn you?" and she responds, "No one Lord."  

Just like He does for us, Jesus intervened on this woman's behalf to free her from her just punishment.

The Syrophoenician (Canaanite) woman was desperate to see her cruelly afflicted, demon possessed daughter, healed.  She knew Jesus was the answer, but he wasn't responding to her pleas.  She was convinced he had the power to heal her daughter, so she persisted.  Jesus told her (in so many words) that he came as the Jewish Messiah, and she wasn't Jewish.  Because of her response to him, which demonstrated her faith, her daughter was healed.  Could this have been a foreshadow of what was to come?  Salvation to all who believe not just the Jews?

Jesus was born in an ordinary stable and laid in an ordinary manger, but what he was going to do on our behalf was extraordinary.  Joy to the world the LORD has come.

Peter was one of the 12. A disciple.  A close friend of Jesus.  He walked and talked with Jesus on a daily basis.  Even so, Peter's faith faltered at times, but when it did he cried out to the One who could save him.  He cried out to Jesus.

The Roman Centurion had unquestioning faith that Jesus could heal his slave.  Jesus marveled at and commended his faith before the Jews.  Is it really that simple?  Just believe?  It is that simple, but it's not that easy.

She was an outcast in more ways than one.  She encountered Jesus and immediately became a great and effective evangelist.  

Nicodemus was from the ruling religious council of the Pharisees.  Jesus was unimpressed by his knowledge and religious clout..  Nicodemus needed to be born again, in the spirit.

Mary was the mother of Jesus and self-proclaimed servant of the Lord.  She gave all she had and all she was to follow her savior and .  She watched him die on the cross but called herself blessed.   Jesus was faithful to sustain and provide for her needs every step of the way.  He does the same for us.

In this episode we see Nathaniel encounter Jesus in a very personal and undeniable way.  Jesus calls other disciples, too, and the group doesn't make a whole lot of sense....in our wisdom.  But, Jesus knows what He's doing!  

In this episode we look into John the Baptist's encounter with Jesus.  John was a zealous preacher & prophet proclaiming Jesus, the coming Christ, but even he had his doubts...

In this episode we talk about who Jesus is and why you want to have an encounter with Him.

• John 1:1-5 -- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.  In him was life, and the life was the light of men.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

• John 20:31 -- but these things are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
