James goes on to explain how Consilio has always prioritised mental health, but as the pandemic resulted in heightened stress levels for the majority of employees, it has cracked down on ways it can improve its mental health resources to offer further support. 

Throughout the episode, James tells our listeners that an empathetic approach is what will allow you to progress beyond unfortunate circumstances, explaining that leadership is about service and empathy. He says that being a leader is 'a responsibility to do more, not a license to do less’.
