Every single one of us can, and should be, as much of an inspiration to other people as possible.  And if we are fortunate enough to have any sort of platform, then all the more reason to strive to uplift.  In fact, if your voice is heard by millions of people, you have a responsibility to do the right thing, no matter what.  Knowingly saying something that is not true, is the worst.  And I couldn't care less whose mouth it comes out of!

Borrowing, when there is no reasonable chance to pay back the funds, is not even close to what most of us would consider sound economic advice.  Unfortunately, this is how the government has been operating for quite some time now.  And Social Security, among other taxpayer funded programs...is in real trouble.

It takes some really despicable people to take advantage of vulnerable people in our society.  These scammers seem to have no conscience, they attempt to steal whatever they want.  And in many cases, unfortunately, they are successful.  I have little tolerance for such people!

When we submit to the will of an out-of-control government, that takes advantage of our liberty and freedom, indeed actively attempts to minimize our liberty and freedom; then we have succumbed to the control of tyranny.  Our Constitution, and we the people, deserve so much more.

If we're not careful, not paying attention, or simply don't care, we'll find ourselves in a country that resembles totalitarianism, not freedom and liberty.  And then it will be too late to do anything about it.  We must preserve the Constitution if we expect our children and grandchildren to have any hope of benefiting from the sacrifices of those who gave their lives to preserve it.

Stopping to think about what's really important is something we should all do on a regular basis.  We have to be willing to stand up for what we believe, and continue to respect the rights of all people to believe what they will.

We live in a very open country, to be sure.  And for that reason, the "powers that be" need to ensure that they have the safety of the American people as a top priority.  Unless we want to end up like Israel, and experience a terror attack that dwarfs 9/11, our borders must be protected. 

Editing Note:  At around the 8:10 mark of the episode, I said that "Gaza takes over..."  What I meant to say is that "Hamas takes over."  

There are regions of the world that have been hotbeds for war and strife for generations.  The Middle East is no exception to this unfortunate rule.  And if there is to be lasting peace there, mighty changes must take place.

Doing the right thing, that which is kind and nice, doesn't get the attention it deserves in society today; however, just because niceness doesn't sell in the corporate media cesspool, doesn't mean we shouldn't embrace it.  It only takes a small effort on our part to change the narrative for the better.

We must never forget what happened on September 11, 2001.  We owe it to those who perished, as well as to their families, to remember their sacrifices. 

Granted, human beings often show a tendency to misuse the ability to think, reason, be rational, or treat other humans kindly.  But imagine if we were to throw animals into the mix.  Yikes!

There is plenty that we can all observe in our society, that needs improving.  But what about the good that people do on a daily basis?  We need to take back the narrative!  Let's not allow ourselves to be dictated to, by those who seem to be succeeding in their quest to divide us, and pit us against each other.  We need to choose to do the right thing, simply because it is the right thing.

Contrary to "popular opinion" it's not cool to ridicule men for being masculine.  I make a legitimate attempt to justify masculine behavior in men - and for that matter, the fact that there is both feminine and masculine characteristics in both women and men - and that's okay!

Whatever you're doing this Memorial Day weekend, take a few moments to reflect on the lives that have been lost, to preserve your right to enjoy a holiday.  Remember the fallen.

The right of the presumption of innocence, as enumerated in the Bill of Rights, is likely one of the most important and basic rights that exists for all Americans.  We must do all within our power to ensure that that right, as well as all the other rights afforded to us, whether enumerated or otherwise, are preserved for everyone.

We all get the opportunity to make better choices today than we did yesterday.  This life is both challenging and exhilarating.  The goal is to make the most of it day after day.

The Constitution is limited, some may even say that it's vague, with respect to the duties of the President.  And to be fair, it is vague regarding many aspects of the three coequal branches of government.  But as to whether the Constitution allows for the Executive to issue Orders, well, that is certainly up for debate.  As far as I'm concerned, the Constitution does not allow for the issuance of Executive Orders!

There seems to be an epidemic of consequential significance in America today, it's called mental illness.  If our nations leaders, media, clinicians, and others, do not start addressing this epidemic seriously, it will not end well for any of us.

The arguments about equal and equality have been debated a lot in recent years.  My take on the matter is what I believe to be, straightforward.  I'm no biologist, but I understand basic science.

The oath entered into by those who work in government must actually mean something.  We must hold them to account for that oath!

Will we ever know the truth regarding issues that the press has the responsibility to share with the people?  We may never know.  But what we need to know is that we have a responsibility as citizens to find out the truth...no matter where it leads.

Wouldn't it be nice if our elected leaders held themselves to the same high standards that they like to hold corporations and other organizations accountable to?

Life is short.  I believe that we should strive to be a friend to all, even if we don't agree with them all of the time.  Of course, we're going to have friends that we will always keep close.  May each of us be the kind of friend that others would want to keep close.

We have heard it often of late from politicians...that they need to save our way of government.  Well, making a speech about it won't help.  It requires action.  It requires fidelity to the Constitution.  Nothing less.

It's a new year!  What better time than now to evaluate that which is most important in life, whatever that might be for you?  Thanks for listening.

To me, Christmas is a wonderful time of year.  For those of you who celebrate Christmas, I wish you a very Merry Christmas!

We all seem to put up with what we will...until it comes knocking on our door.  It is then that we become very interested when it hits close to home.  Enjoying freedom and liberty requires actively educating ourselves about the importance of what it takes to preserve rights.  If we wait until if hits us personally, then it may be too late.

Getting in touch with our feelings is not a bad thing.  However, when our feelings become preeminent over every other facet of life, then that is potentially, debilitating to our society.

We should cherish the right to vote.  And that right must be respected by all citizens.  Those who conspire to change the results of an election, seriously undermine the rights of all the voting populace.

Happiness is one of the most integral components of our life.  Without happiness, we struggle more than we need to.  If we can make the choice, more often than not, to be happy, then life can truly be a joyous experience.

Unlike some Hollywood elites, and perhaps other people; I love America and choose to live nowhere else in the world.  Not even the Commander in Chief can chase me out of the country...try as he might!

All Americans are entitled to equal justice under law.  There is one system of justice in our country.  And whether one is wealthy or well-connected, should have no bearing on the ultimate outcome.  All plaintiffs and defendants are subject to the same standard - preponderance of evidence.  Unfortunately, political persuasion seems to matter more nowadays. 

My problem has never been with the Chinese people.  My problem is with the Chinese Communist Party.  And of course, the capitulation of our own government!

In a Union of fifty states, especially in the 21st Century, there are bound to be differences of opinion.  However, it seems to me, that the way we overcome differences, is to allow other people the right to believe as they will.  People in our culture need to learn how to deal with the things that other people say...even if they don't agree.

When the sitting president characterizes a voting block of American citizens in the way that Joe Biden did on September 1 - then Houston, we have a problem!

We all have an ability to do more than we think we can.  Never let anyone tell you that what you want to do is impossible.  Work hard.  Stay the course.  Achieve.  Do the impossible.

We either enjoy the right to free speech, and every other right in this country, or we don't.  No matter where you stand, the right to free speech, as well as the rest of our rights, are worth the effort to defend.

No matter your political ideology, we must do all we can to keep our Republic! 

Politics can be a nasty business.  But most often, when those we elect to represent us, play politics, we the people get hurt the most.  And what happens to them?  The impact of playing politics has virtually no consequences.  The ballot box, however, is where we can do the most damage.  And we should exercise that right very judiciously.  

Is there a price too high to pay in preserving the liberty that we enjoy?  The benefits far outweigh whatever meager price we might pay.  But it's a price we all must pay to preserve liberty for our own, and future generations.

Do we need to be told that we're fragile because of who we are? In today's episode I employ a bit of sarcasm, parody, and satire to prove a point.  After all, many a truth is said in jest.  I hope you enjoy.

Even though we are faced with challenging times on a regular basis, we don't have to give in to the impulses that sometimes, erroneously lead us down a perilous path.  Becoming a "more perfect union" does not happen automatically.  It takes consistent and worthwhile effort.

We have a blueprint for freedom and liberty.  It's called the Constitution.  And we need to make sure that we are doing all we can to ensure, not only its survival, but that its blessings are extended to all.

Stupidity does not have to be permanent.  It can be overcome.  Unfortunately, ulterior motives often get in the way of our leaders doing that which would, under more pure motives,  benefit society at large.

Memorial Day is a day to remember the fallen, who paid the ultimate price for freedom and liberty; who preserved this amazing idea, largely, for complete strangers.  May we never forget them!

Ladies and Gentlemen, it seems evident that Congress has a much different set of rules that govern their conduct, particularly since they're the ones who make their own rules.  And near as I can tell, their definition of rules, differs dramatically from my definition.

All of us need to be united, regardless of political party, in our support of the Constitution.  If we're not united in our defense of this important document, we will live to regret it.

How about we concentrate, and focus our attention on getting rid of political leaders, from whatever party, who are usurping the Constitution.  It's up to we the people, to ensure that our way of life continues.  And the only way we can do that is to elect people to office who respect the Constitution.  End of story!

We all have tons of options when it comes to who, or what we believe.  There are numerous choices to make, and it only seems to be getting more difficult when it comes to finding what is right...what we can actually believe.

There should not be anything offensive to anyone who hears the term, American Exceptionalism.  It's not an expression that implies mediocrity upon any other nation.  It's simply a phrase that speaks to the brilliance of America's founding documents.  That's it!

Respect is a key ingredient to accepting and understanding events in our history.  If we respect other people, simply for the fact that we have not walked in their shoes, we will have a greater appreciation for all that their forebears experienced.  And perhaps more importantly, ensure that evils from the past are not repeated in our day.

Since when has debate, about any topic imaginable, become tabu in our society?  The most robust and honest debates should take place, particularly when the stakes are so consequential.  Sadly, it seems, we have lost focus on one of the most important elements of a free society.

Since when did it become okay for a political party in the United States to go after people who disagree with them?

With the passing of another year, we look forward to bigger and better things in the new year. Here's to getting big government off our backs in 2022! 

Freedom of speech is the most fundamental right in the United States.  We must do all that we can to ensure that this right is preserved.

What's in a conspiracy?  Is it the same as being a conspiracy theorist?  Do actual conspiracies take place?  Do conspiracies have to be bad to qualify as a conspiracy, or can something good be conspiratorial?  Tune in to hear some of my thoughts on the matter.

Laws are the foundation for a civilized society.  There must be a universal respect for the rights, privileges, and laws of our country.  If this pattern of liberty is not upheld, then we are all in for some serious heartache! 

May all of us remember the degree of sacrifice that took place in Hawaii, so many years ago.  Opportunities to progress were lost.  The dreams of many good people? dashed to pieces.  December 7, 1941, must be a day we always remember and reverence.

Most of us tend to wonder what might have happened if we had made a different decision than the one we made - how might things have been different?  Life is too short.  Live it to its fullest and let the chips fall where they may!

When it comes to Veteran's, we owe a debt of gratitude to them, that we will never be able to repay!

This day should always, and forever, be a day of remembrance and respect for all whose lives were unalterably changed on that fateful day twenty years ago.

One of the best ways to deal with conflict, particularly among nations, is to uphold promises made.  Our position in Afghanistan leaves a lot to be desired.  After twenty years, what is to be done?  I have a suggestion.

Mental health is just as important for each of us to pay attention to, just as we focus on physical health.  Unfortunately, there is often negative stigma associated with mental health, as opposed to physical health.  All of us have a part to play in helping to eradicate the stigma of mental health issues...even if it is a small role.

When any of us reads a study by an entity as well-known as Harvard Medical School, we should be able to reasonably believe, that what we're reading is born out of scientific research.  Well, as near as I can tell, that may not always be the case.  What a shock...or is it?

All of us rely on someone else, or some organization, to provide us with accurate and useable information.  What happens when we are led to believe, that information we are given, is efficacious in our lives? But in reality it is not.  Where do you go for sources of truth?

If we're not careful, we will one day be unable to recognize the liberty and freedom that we have for years, taken for granted.  My plea is that we wake up to what is happening, particularly that we wake up to the danger that lies within the bureaucracy.

All of us ought to seek to be independent, insofar as we are able to do so.  Living in a country that espouses the notion of liberty and freedom, we should celebrate independent living, amongst ourselves and our families.

Most of us, including me, do not think about the office of an elected official, as sanctified.  But in reality, based upon the blood that was spilt to ensure that our system of government could endure, elected office should be viewed as sanctified.  Of course, this is not to be confused with the officeholder, however.  Regardless of the officeholder, when it comes to power, each of us has the power to do the right thing.

There is a big difference between tolerating someone, or something, and enabling behavior.  We need to have the courage to stand up for what is right...but to do it in a way that is respectful, that doesn't create a sense of devaluation in another human being.  This is the essence of Tolerating Tuesday.

We live in a day where we continue to witness incredible strides in the human condition, via technology, as well as various forms of innovation; yet we still seem to struggle with getting along with each other.  This is our time, and it's up to us to make the best of it...for all people.

The history of Revolutions far and wide are common knowledge.  But the American Revolution was the first of its kind.  May the birth of our nation continue to give rise to a burst of freedom and liberty throughout the world!

When we're divided, we are not as strong as we could be.  Division leads to strife, strife leads to conflict, and conflict leads to hate and ultimately, war.  "United we stand, divided we fall."

If you're concerned about the accuracy of the information you consume, then you're on the right track.  The information age is often anything but accurate information.  We must choose wisely when it comes to the kind of  information we consume.

Understanding is essential to the growth of any culture or society.  Emphasizing the negative aspects of our country, over the progress that we're making, is the wrong course.  Join me in being a positive force for good, and in focusing on how we grow with each other, not tear each other down. 

The culture of "cancel" is widespread in our society.  Personally, I believe it to be a sad day when I, or my fellow citizens, receive persecution and grief from other people, simply because they have disagreements with the way we choose to believe or act.

We learn about the nature of laws, and presumably why we have them, from a very early age.  But what does anyone ever do, particularly those elected to make laws, to stop the creation of so many, many laws?

Whether one accepts it or not, there is media bias running rampant today.  It has been going on for years!  And it's only worsened with the advent of the internet.  It takes objectivity to recognize bias.  Good luck...

What do you think of when you think of standards?  No matter what society will, or won't accept, regarding standards; we have them, and for good reason if we want to remain a civilized people.

Memorial Day is about honoring those who "gave the last full measure of devotion."  That we may strive to honor those of our day, who gave their last, full measure of devotion defending us.

There is perhaps nothing more sacred in our republic, than exercising the right to vote.  It must be safeguarded against those, whose desire is diminishing that sacred privilege, even when it appears they are doing all they can to make it more open.

Contrary to popular belief, living a virtuous life is not outdated, old-fashioned, or just for the older generations.  The hallmark of a great life incorporates virtue as a foundation upon which the next generation must build.

There are myriad topics that we could highlight and discuss regarding our responsible uses of our freedom.  I have chosen just a couple of them here.  We reap the consequences, for good or ill, by the things that we choose to do.  Here's to ensuring that we do all that is within our power to minimize unpleasant consequences going forward.

We may have complaints in 21st Century America, but those complaints do not compare to the challenges faced by peoples who live under the fist of Marxism, known today by its offspring, communism/socialism.

It's no secret that we do not live in a perfect society, however, we do live in one that has as a founding principle, the admonishment, which suggests that we ought to at least strive for "...a more perfect Union."

How much control do we have over our own lives?  All of us would like to think that we are in complete control of nearly every aspect of our lives.  But in reality we are often compelled to do that which we wouldn't otherwise choose.

Each one of us should be concerned when we hear of those whose desire is to limit, curtail, or even do away with, speech that is classified by them as disagreeable, or that is deemed "disinformation."

Any society is only as good as the people who live in it.  To be civilized should be at the forefront of how we treat other people.  Laws are integral in a civilized society, however, laws should not necessarily be the basis for how we treat others.  Being respectful and courteous need not be governed by law, but rather, by personal choice.

If any of us managed our house the way that our representatives manage "the people's House," we would pay dearly for it; yet many of those representatives seem to be judged by a different standard than the rest of us.  The sad reality is that a lot of our most irresponsible representatives, continue to get hired by their constituents election after election.  That is troubling!

Are we not all subject to the same rules and regulations regarding our personal behavior?  Is that not something we all have in common?  I believe it is.  However, the sad reality is that, in practice, it doesn't always measure up.

Doing the right thing sometimes requires that we do something that we may, instinctively, not choose to do.  However, realizing that there are consequences for every choice we make in life, our motivation to be more rational in our decision-making process, especially when there is so much at stake, should be paramount!

We either have freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and the right to petition the government, or we don't.  Even if the Congress does not legislate to restrict these most basic of rights; what is it that the rest of us do, that may be considered, restricting these fundamental rights?

No matter where we're at on the economic scale, we all make numerous decisions on a regular basis, affecting our personal economy.  When we decide to commit ourselves to making good financial decisions, we increase, not only our short-term prospects, but our overall economic outlook going forward.

The hallmark of any great civilization seems to center around its emphasis to be educated, and then to make good decisions, based off of that aim.  Unfortunately, in today's society, the pure and noble vocation to educate, has been co-opted by those with ulterior motives, that sadly, often have nothing to do with education. 

The average person is not the slightest bit amused by the attitudes of the elite.  The elite have always, and will forever, accept the notion that they are better than everyone else; that indeed, we cannot get along without them.  That is hilarious and delusional!

There's a reason for the comparison of the nastiness of politics with a sausage.  If any of us witnessed what goes into making sausage, we'd likely never eat it again.  The same is true with politics.  The more we find out about the nature of it, and the way our citizen representatives often conduct themselves, the less we want to know about it.

Have you ever wondered to yourself, that since human beings have seemed to master the ability to progress and grow, why not animals?  Well, I have too!  Why is mankind, in theory anyway, the more evolved and dominant species?  I take a somewhat lighthearted dive into this inexplicable phenomenon.

If segregation was wrong during the era of the fight for civil rights, because whites did not want to integrate with blacks; then shouldn't it be wrong today when various groups exclude people who don't look like, act like, or think like they do?  I think so.

We can identify a creed as religious; or that which is considered a fundamental belief, or guiding principle.  Our freedom and liberty must be the guiding force behind our growth as individuals, and our unity as a people.  Join me, as I explore the marvelous creed, I call freedom!
