Gratitude- Tips for parents

Gratitude is such a positive emotion. It’s the act of noticing and appreciating the things that we often take for granted. It is being thankful for the many blessings that we have.

But how can you teach it to your kids? Setting an example is the best way to demonstrate the power of gratitude. According to the Child Mind Institute, there are many ways you can practice this at home with your kids.

It’s a time for the family to gather, enjoy a comforting delicious meal and share a moment to say what they are grateful for. The origin of this holiday has been a point of debate, as we know now that although a large feast took place between the first settlers and the Native Americans, that peaceful exchange did not last long. The holiday we celebrate today was really established much later.
