Daisy was the co-founder of the Arkansas State Press, the author of the award winning book “The Long Shadow of Little Rock,” and was president of the Arkansas NAACP during a critical moment in civil rights history. She did so much for the people of Arkansas, so today we celebrate her legacy. Happy birthday, Daisy!
