Hoy cerramos esta novena con un corazón lleno de gratitud, esperanza y fe renovada. Y hoy también reflexionamos sobre el ejemplo de entrega de María

María nos enseña lo que significa entregarnos por completo a Dios. Ella no tuvo todas las respuestas. No sabía cómo se cumpliría la promesa. Pero dijo: “Hágase en mí según tu palabra.”

Esa entrega abrió el camino a la libertad. Caminar en libertad no significa que la vida sea fácil. Significa confiar.
Significa soltar el control. Significa creer que Dios sabe lo que hace, incluso cuando no entendemos.

Hoy celebramos un nuevo comienzo. Un caminar distinto.
Un corazón más libre. Una fe más profunda.

Si tus oraciones aún no han sido respondidas, sé paciente contigo mismo. Dios a veces nos dice sí, otras veces no, y muchas veces todavía no.

Quiero compartir algo personal contigo.

En el 2020, cuando comencé esta novena, le pedí a Dios algo muy específico. La respuesta fue clara: no. Seguí orando por la misma intención durante cinco novenas, y la respuesta seguía siendo no. Hasta que un día le dije a Dios: “Ya entendí. Es un no.”

Y años después, en la temporada 12, cuando menos lo esperaba, Dios cambió todo. Fue un sí claro.

Durante ese tiempo de espera, sin darme cuenta, fui construyendo poco a poco mi relación con Dios. Y sigo construyéndola hoy.

Por eso te digo: ten fe. Dios siempre tiene un plan.

La oración de hoy es María, Madre de entrega y confianza,
enséñanos a decir sí a Dios, a caminar en libertad, y a confiar incluso cuando el camino no es claro.

Staying faithful to prayer for 54 days is not easy. It takes trust, humility, and love for God. You showed up. You prayed. You stayed. And that matters more than you know.

Today we reflect on Mary’s example of surrender.

Today, we look to Mary, our Blessed Mother, and her example of surrender. Mary didn’t always understand God’s plan. She didn’t have all the details. But she trusted.

She said yes, not because everything made sense, but because she trusted God with her life.

Surrender doesn’t mean giving up. It means placing our lives in God’s hands and trusting that He knows what He’s doing.

As we finish this novena, we also begin something new,
walking in freedom, trusting God with what’s next.

I want to share something personal with you. In 2020, I prayed this novena and asked God for something very specific. The answer was always very clear: no.

I prayed the same intention for five novenas, and still, no. Until one day I finally said, “God, I get it. It’s a no.”

And then—years later, during Season 12— God turned everything around when I least expected it. It became a clear yes.

But during the waiting, something beautiful happened:
I built my relationship with God—slowly, faithfully, deeply.
And that relationship continues to grow.

So if your prayers haven’t been answered yet, please hear this: God’s answers are often yes, no, or not yet. And all three are acts of love.

Have faith. God always has a plan.

La alegría no se fuerza. La alegría crece. Crece cuando permanecemos cerca de Dios. Crece cuando seguimos orando aun cuando la vida es difícil. Crece cuando la sanación ha comenzado, aunque el camino no haya terminado.

La sanación no siempre quita el dolor, pero abre espacio para que la alegría regrese. La alegría se muestra como paz en el corazón, gratitud por los pequeños momentos, y esperanza más firme que antes.

En esta Nochebuena, recordamos que la alegría entró al mundo de forma sencilla, en un pesebre, a través de un niño, en medio de la oscuridad y la fragilidad.

Esa misma alegría sigue naciendo hoy en nosotros.

Nuestra oración esta noche es sencilla: “Jesús, gracias por la alegría que trae la sanación y por Tu presencia en mi vida.”

Al entrar en estos últimos días de la novena, quiero ser honesta con ustedes: estos días se sienten un poco diferentes. Se sienten casi agridulces.

Estamos llegando al final de este camino, y aunque hay alegría, también hay una ternura al saber que ya casi terminamos. Pero más que nada, me siento muy orgullosa de ustedes, por seguir adelante, por mantenerse constantes, y por construir su relación con Dios día a día.

También quiero compartir una actualización con gratitud.
Esta temporada tuvimos 75,520 descargas, lo que significa que alrededor de 1,400 personas rezan con nosotros cada día. Y desde que comenzamos este podcast en agosto de 2020, hemos alcanzado más de 1.1 millones de descargas.

Todo esto es posible solo por la gracia de Dios y por la intercesión de nuestra Santísima Madre. Gracias por ser parte de esta familia.

El tema de hoy es perseverar en la sequedad espiritual.

La sequedad espiritual nos pasa a todos. Hay días en que la oración se siente cercana y llena…y otros días se siente silenciosa, lejana o incluso vacía.

La sequedad no significa que Dios te haya dejado. No significa que tus oraciones no importen. Y no significa que estés haciendo algo mal. 

A veces Dios nos invita a amarlo no porque la oración se sienta bien, sino porque elegimos permanecer.

Perseverar en la sequedad es un acto de fe. Es presentarnos aun cuando no sentimos mucho. Y ese tipo de oración es muy poderosa.

Nuestra oración de hoy es: “Señor, ayúdame a permanecer fiel aun cuando la oración se sienta seca.”

Si estás escribiendo en tu diario, pregúntate: cuando la oración se siente seca, ¿qué me ayuda a seguir presentándome de todos modos?

As we enter these last few days of the novena, I want to be honest with you, these days feel a little different. They’re almost bittersweet.

We’re coming close to the end of this journey, and while there’s joy, there’s also a tenderness in knowing we’re almost done. But more than anything, I feel so proud of you for showing up, for staying committed, and for building your relationship with God day by day.

I also want to share a quick update with gratitude. This season, we’ve had 75,520 downloads, which means about 1,400 people praying with us daily. And since we started this podcast in August of 2020, we’ve reached over 1.1 million downloads.

Today’s theme is persevering through spiritual dryness.

Spiritual dryness happens to all of us. There are days when prayer feels full and close… and other days when it feels quiet, distant, or even empty. Dryness doesn’t mean God has left you. It doesn’t mean your prayers don’t matter. And it doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong.

Sometimes God invites us to love Him not because prayer feels good, but because we choose to stay.

Persevering in dryness is an act of faith. It’s showing up even when you don’t feel much. And that kind of prayer is very powerful.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, help me stay faithful even when prayer feels dry.”

A medida que nos acercamos al final de esta novena, el tema de hoy es simple pero muy importante: mantener la oración en el centro de nuestra vida.

La oración no es solo para los momentos difíciles. La oración es lo que nos mantiene firmes cuando la vida se vuelve ocupada, ruidosa o abrumadora.

Cuando la oración está en el centro, se convierte en nuestro ancla. No significa que todos los días sean tranquilos,  significa que sabemos a dónde ir cuando todo pesa.

Mantener la oración en el centro puede verse muy sencillo: presentarnos aunque estemos distraídos, orar incluso cuando no tenemos palabras, elegir la oración en lugar de la preocupación, elegir la oración en lugar de rendirnos.

Dios no pide oraciones perfectas. Pide corazones fieles. Cuando la oración está en el centro, cambia cómo respondemos, cómo sanamos y cómo seguimos adelante,  un día a la vez.

Nuestra oración de hoy es: “Señor, ayúdame a mantener la oración en el centro de mi vida, especialmente cuando es difícil.”

As we move closer to the end of this novena, today’s theme is simple but powerful keeping prayer at the center of our lives.

Prayer is not just something we do when life gets hard. Prayer is what keeps us grounded when life gets busy, loud, or overwhelming.

When prayer is at the center, it becomes our anchor. It doesn’t mean every day feels peaceful. It means we know where to go when things feel heavy.

Keeping prayer at the center can look very simple: showing up even when you feel distracted, praying even when you don’t have the right words, choosing prayer instead of worry, or choosing prayer instead of giving up.

God doesn’t ask for perfect prayers. He asks for faithful hearts. When prayer stays at the center, it shapes how we respond, how we heal, and how we keep going, one day at a time.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, help me keep prayer at the center of my life, especially when it’s hard.”

Recovery is not only about what we stop doing, it’s also about what we begin to do with love. As healing takes place, God slowly opens our hearts to others. 

We begin to notice people again. We listen more. We show up. We serve. Serving others doesn’t mean doing big things.
It can be as simple as checking in on someone, praying for another person, offering patience, or helping in small, quiet ways.

When we serve, something beautiful happens. Our focus shifts. Our hearts grow. And healing deepens.

God often uses service as part of our recovery, not because we’re perfect, but because love heals both the one who gives and the one who receives.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, help me serve others with love, and let my healing bless those around me.”

Seguimos orando en acción de gracias, confiando en que Dios ya está obrando en nuestras vidas, incluso si el camino continúa.

Hoy hacemos una pausa para celebrar algo muy hermoso: la sobriedad espiritual.

La sobriedad espiritual no es solo dejar una adicción o un mal hábito. Es claridad. Es elegir a Dios una y otra vez. Es estar atentos a Su presencia en nuestra vida.

La sobriedad espiritual se ve así: elegir la oración en lugar de escapar, la verdad en lugar de la negación, la humildad en lugar del orgullo, la paz en lugar del caos. No significa que la vida sea perfecta. Significa que nuestro corazón es más honesto, más firme y más abierto a la gracia.

Hoy damos gracias a Dios por cada momento de claridad, cada buena decisión, cada paso hacia la libertad, incluso los pequeños. Porque la sobriedad espiritual es un regalo y vale la pena celebrarlo.

Nuestra oración de hoy es: “Señor, gracias por la claridad, la libertad y la gracia que estás restaurando en mi vida.”

We are still praying in thanksgiving,  trusting that God is already at work in our lives, even if the journey continues.

Today we pause to celebrate something beautiful: spiritual sobriety.

Spiritual sobriety is not just about walking away from addiction or harmful habits. It’s about clarity. It’s about choosing God again and again. It’s about being awake to His presence in our lives.

Spiritual sobriety looks like choosing prayer over escape. truth over denial. humility over pride, peace over chaos.

It doesn’t mean life is perfect. It means our hearts are more honest, more grounded, and more open to grace.

Today we thank God for every clear moment, every right choice, every step toward freedom, even the small ones. Because spiritual sobriety is a gift, and it’s worth celebrating.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, thank You for the clarity, freedom, and grace You are restoring in my life.”

Hoy seguimos orando en acción de gracias, confiando en que Dios ya está obrando trayendo paz al mundo, libertad a quienes luchan con adicciones, sanación a quienes están en recuperación, y gracia para todas las intenciones de quienes oran con nosotros.

Hoy reflexionamos sobre esta verdad: la sanación es para toda la vida. A veces queremos que la sanación sea rápida y fácil: una oración, un retiro, un momento fuerte… y todo queda resuelto. Pero la sanación verdadera casi nunca es así. Es un camino, no un momento.

Hay días en los que nos sentimos fuertes y llenos de esperanza, y otros días se sienten pesados, lentos, o incluso como si estuviéramos retrocediendo. Eso no significa que hemos fallado. Significa que somos humanos y que seguimos en proceso.

La buena noticia es esta: Dios no tiene prisa con nosotros. Él camina con nosotros paso a paso, en cada etapa, en cada temporada, en cada nuevo comienzo.

Aceptar que la sanación es para toda la vida no significa rendirse. Significa permanecer cerca de Dios a largo plazo, confiando en que Él terminará la obra que comenzó en nosotros.

Nuestra oración de hoy es: “Señor, ayúdame a aceptar que la sanación es un camino
y a permanecer cerca de Ti en cada paso.”

Si estás escribiendo en tu diario, pregúntate ¿Dónde he visto una sanación lenta pero constante en mi vida y cómo puedo ser más paciente con este proceso?

Santísima Madre, Reina del Santísimo Rosario, hoy damos gracias a Dios por cada pequeño paso de sanación, por cada avance, y por la gracia de seguir adelante cuando el camino se siente largo.

Today we continue praying in thanksgiving, trusting that God is already working bringing peace to the world, freedom to those struggling with addictions, healing to those in recovery, and grace for the intentions of everyone praying with us.

Today we reflect on this truth: healing is lifelong. Sometimes we want healing to be quick and clean; one prayer, one retreat, one breakthrough, and everything is fixed. But real healing usually doesn’t look like that. It’s a journey, not a moment.

Some days feel strong and hopeful, and other days feel heavy, slow, or even like we’re going backwards. That doesn’t mean we’ve failed. It means we’re human, and still in process.

The good news is: God is not in a hurry with us. He walks with us step by step, through every layer, every season, every new beginning. Accepting that healing is lifelong doesn’t mean we give up. It means we stay close to God for the long run, trusting that He will finish the work He began in us.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, help me accept that healing is a journey, and stay close to You for every step of it.”

Antes de comenzar, quiero compartir algo especial sobre quién está detrás de 54 Days of Roses. 

Esta temporada solo somos solo Lilly y yo. Yo hago las oraciones, los correos y las grabaciones diarias del rosario, y Lilly se encarga de las redes sociales. Ella incluso aprendió a editar para esta temporada, y hace todo esto desde la Ciudad de México.

Lilly ha estado con el podcast desde agosto del 2020, y ha sido una gran bendición para el podcast.  

Quiero pedirles algo desde el corazón: por favor mantengan a Lilly y a mí en sus oraciones. En cada temporada, las últimas semanas se ponen muy difíciles. Siempre pasa algo, ya sea problemas técnicos, retos personales, o atrasos inesperados.

Si por alguna razón un episodio no se publica a tiempo, por favor sepan que estamos haciendo todo lo posible…y ustedes pueden simplemente continuar rezando el misterio del día.

Hoy seguimos rezando en acción de gracias, confiando en que Dios ya está respondiendo nuestras intenciones. Y hoy reflexionamos sobre elegir la paz en lugar de la perfección.

Muchas veces queremos que todo salga “perfecto”; nuestras relaciones, nuestra sanación, nuestra vida espiritual, nuestros hábitos. Y cuando las cosas no salen bien, nos desanimamos.

Pero Dios no nos pide perfección. Nos pide presencia. 
Nos pide confianza. Nos pide un corazón que sigue intentando, incluso en los días difíciles.

La paz llega cuando dejamos de presionarnos y permitimos que Dios nos encuentre tal como estamos.

Nuestra oración hoy es: “Señor, ayúdame a elegir la paz en lugar de la perfección, y recuérdame que Tú estás obrando incluso cuando mi vida no es perfecta.”

Before we begin, I want to share something special about our team, the people behind 54 Days of Roses.

This season, it’s just Lilly and me. I take care of the prayers, the emails, and the daily recordings, and Lilly handles the social media. She even learned how to edit for this season. 

Lilly has been with the podcast since August of 2020. She lives in Mexico City and she does so much for 54 Days of Roses. she puts all the episodes together and makes sure that each episode is published on time throughout all the podcast platforms. So I'm very grateful to her everything she does for 54 Days of Roses.

Today, I want to ask something from the heart: please keep both of us in your prayers. Every season, the last couple of weeks get very challenging for us. Something always seems to come up; technical issues, personal struggles, or unexpected delays.

But if for some reason an episode does not post right away, please know we are trying our best… and you can simply continue praying the mystery of the day.

Family, thank you so much for praying this novena with us. I am very grateful. 

Today we continue praying in thanksgiving, trusting that God is already answering our intentions. And today’s reflection is about choosing peace instead of perfection.

So often, we want everything to be “just right”; our relationships, our healing, our spiritual life, our habits. And  when things don’t go perfectly, we get discouraged.

But God is not asking for perfection. He’s asking for presence. He’s asking for trust. He’s asking for a heart that keeps showing up, even on messy days.

Peace comes when we let go of the pressure to have it all together and allow God to meet us exactly where we are.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, help me choose peace over perfection, and remind me that You are working even when my life feels imperfect.”

A veces olvidamos lo sagrado que es nuestro cuerpo. Lo exigimos demasiado, no escuchamos lo que necesita o lo criticamos sin agradecerle a Dios por él. Pero Dios creó tu cuerpo con amor. Él vive en ti. Y cuidar tu cuerpo no es solo autocuidado, es un acto espiritual.

Honrar tu cuerpo puede ser: descansar cuando estás cansado, comer con intención, mover tu cuerpo de manera saludable, decir “no” a lo que te hace daño, y agradecer a Dios por el regalo de estar vivo hoy.

No necesitas ser perfecto. Solo necesitas un pequeño paso para tratar tu cuerpo con amor y respeto.

Nuestra oración de hoy es: “Señor, ayúdame a cuidar mi cuerpo con amor y recuérdame que soy tu templo.”

Sometimes we forget how sacred our bodies really are. We push them too hard, we ignore what they need, or we judge them instead of thanking God for them. But God created your body with love. He lives in you. And caring for your body is not only self-care, it’s a spiritual act.

Honoring your body can look like: resting when you’re tired, eating with intention, moving your body in healthy ways, saying no to what harms you, and thanking God for the gift of being alive today. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to take one small step toward treating your body with love, respect, and gratitude.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, help me care for my body with love, and remind me that I am Your temple.”

Hoy es un momento especial en nuestro camino. Con este episodio, terminamos nuestra segunda novena de acción de gracias. Mañana comenzamos nuestra última novena de este recorrido de 54 días. 

Antes de comenzar, quiero pedirles algo desde el corazón:

En esta segunda parte de la novena seguimos orando en acción de gracias, confiando en que Dios ya está obrando; trayendo paz al mundo, liberación a quienes luchan con adicciones, sanación a quienes están en recuperación, y gracia para todas las intenciones de quienes rezan con nosotros.

La reflexión de hoy es: vivir un dia a la vez con gracia.

A veces nos agobiamos pensando en el mañana, en el próximo mes o en el futuro. Nos preguntamos: “¿Cómo voy a seguir?” o “¿Y si vuelvo a caer?” Pero Dios nos da la gracia un día a la vez. No para ayer, no para mañana todavía, sino para hoy.

Vivir un día a la vez no significa que dejemos de pensar en el futuro.
Significa que confiamos en que Dios estará allí cuando lleguemos.

Hoy, tu trabajo no es arreglarlo todo. Tu trabajo es permanecer cerca de Dios hoy: orar, dar el siguiente paso correcto, amar a las personas frente a ti, y confiar en que Su gracia es suficiente para este día.

Nuestra oración de hoy es: “Señor, dame la gracia que necesito para hoy y ayúdame a confiar en Ti para el mañana.”

 Si estás escribiendo en tu diario, pregúntate ¿Qué paso pequeño puedo dar hoy para vivir con más confianza, paz y gracia?

We continue praying in thanksgiving, trusting that God is already answering our prayers; bringing peace to the world, freedom to those struggling with addictions, healing to those in recovery, and grace for every intention of those praying with us.

The reflection of today is living one day at a time with grace. 

Sometimes we get overwhelmed thinking about tomorrow, next month, or the future. We wonder, “How am I going to keep going?” or “What if I fall again?” But God gives us grace one day at a time. Not for yesterday, not yet for tomorrow, but for today.

Living one day at a time doesn’t mean we stop caring about the future. It means we trust that God will be there when we get there.

Today, your job is not to fix everything. Your job is to stay close to God today: to show up in prayer, to take the next right step, to love the people in front of you, and to trust that His grace is enough for this day.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, give me the grace I need for today, and help me trust You with tomorrow.”

La reflexión de hoy es: el poder sanador del perdón.

Perdonar es una de las cosas más difíciles que Dios nos pide. No siempre pasa rápido. No siempre se siente fácil. Y no significa olvidar lo que pasó. Perdonar es dejar ir el peso que llevamos en el corazón. Es escoger la paz en lugar del rencor; la libertad en lugar de la amargura.

A veces necesitamos perdonar a otra persona… y a veces necesitamos perdonarnos a nosotros mismos. Perdonar no dice “lo que pasó estuvo bien.” Perdonar dice: “Ya no voy a cargar con esto.” Y en ese momento, Dios empieza a sanar. Despacio, con suavidad, paso a paso… pero Él sana.

Hoy pedimos la gracia de perdonar lo que podamos, empezar donde estamos, y dejar que Dios ablande lo que todavía duele.

Nuestra oración de hoy es: “Señor, enseña a mi corazón a perdonar y trae sanación donde haya dolor.”

We continue praying in thanksgiving, trusting that God is already answering our prayers for peace in the world, freedom from addictions, healing for those in recovery, and the intentions of everyone listening.

The reflection of today is the healing power of forgiveness.

Forgiveness is one of the hardest things we are called to do. It doesn’t always happen quickly. It doesn’t always feel easy. And it doesn’t mean forgetting what happened.

Forgiveness is choosing to let go of the weight that’s been on your heart. It’s choosing peace over bitterness, freedom over resentment. Sometimes the person we need to forgive is someone else…and sometimes the person we need to forgive is ourselves.

Forgiveness doesn’t say “what happened was okay.” It says, “I’m not carrying this anymore.” God meets us in that moment. He heals slowly, gently, step by step, but He heals.

Today we ask for the grace to forgive where we can, to begin where we are, and to let God soften what still hurts.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, teach my heart to forgive, and bring healing wherever there is pain.”

 La reflexión de hoy es: reemplazar el miedo con la fe El miedo aparece en la vida de todos: miedo al futuro, a los cambios, a fallar, a no ser suficientes. Pero Dios nunca nos pide cargar ese miedo solos.

Tener fe no significa que nunca sintamos miedo. Tener fe significa avanzar con Dios, incluso cuando no sabemos qué va a pasar.

Cada vez que oras, cada vez que entregas algo que pesa, cada vez que dices: “Señor, confío en Ti,” estás eligiendo fe en lugar de miedo. Poco a poco, la fe nos hace más fuertes. Nos da paz. Y nos recuerda que Dios está al control, no nuestro miedo.

Hoy nuestra oración es: “Señor, reemplaza mi miedo con fe y recuérdame que Tú estás conmigo en todo.”

Family, in this second part of the novena we continue to pray in thanksgiving, knowing that God is already answering our intentions.

The reflection of today is replacing fear with faith. Fear shows up in all of our lives; fear of the future, fear of change, fear of failing, fear of not being enough. But God never asks us to carry that fear alone.

Faith doesn’t mean we never feel afraid. Faith means we move forward with God, even when things feel uncertain.

Every time you pray, every time you surrender something heavy, every time you say, “Lord, I trust You,” you are choosing faith over fear. Little by little, faith makes us stronger. It gives us peace.It reminds us that God is in control, not our fear.

Today our prayer is: “Lord, replace my fear with faith, and remind me that You are with me in everything.”

La reflexión de hoy es: dar testimonio a otros a través de nuestras heridas.

Hay testimonios que solo nacen de las cosas difíciles que hemos vivido. No vienen de ser perfectos ni de nunca fallar, sino de lo que Dios nos ha ayudado a sanar y superar.

Muchas veces pensamos que primero tenemos que “arreglar todo” antes de poder ayudar a alguien más. Pero la verdad es que Dios usa justamente esos lugares donde hemos sufrido, llorado o nos hemos sentido quebrados…para acompañar a otros que pasan por lo mismo.

Cuando entregamos nuestras heridas a Dios, Él puede hacer algo bueno con ellas. Tu sanación puede darle esperanza a alguien más. Tu historia puede recordarle a otra persona que no está sola.

Hoy le damos gracias a Dios no solo por lo que ha sanado en nosotros, sino también por cómo está usando nuestro camino para animar y levantar a otros.

Nuestra oración de hoy es: “Señor, usa mis heridas para llevar esperanza a otros, y que mi sanación siempre señale hacia Ti.”

The reflection of today is: witnessing to others through our wounds

There’s a kind of testimony that can only come from the hard things we’ve lived through. Not from being perfect, not from never messing up, but from what God has helped us heal and overcome.

A lot of times we think we need to “fix everything first” before we can help someone else. But the truth is, God often uses the exact places where we’ve struggled, cried, or felt broken… to help someone going through the same thing.

When we give our wounds to God, He can use them for something good. Your healing can give someone else hope. Your story can remind someone they’re not alone.

So today, we thank God not only for the healing He’s done in us, but also for how He is using our journey to lift up and encourage other people.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, use my wounds to bring hope to others, and let my healing point back to You.”

Cuando recordamos quiénes somos, vivimos con más libertad, paz y esperanza.
Y María siempre nos guía de regreso a esta verdad.

Oramos. “Señor, recuérdame que soy tu hijo. María, cúbreme con tu manto y llévame más cerca del amor de Dios.”

Today, on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, we reflect on something deeply important: our identity as children of God. So many of our struggles come from forgetting who we are: loved, chosen, forgiven, protected, called by name.

The world tries to define us by our wounds, our mistakes, our addictions, our past.
But Our Lady of Guadalupe reminds us of the truth: You belong to God. You are His child. You are loved beyond measure.

When we remember who we are, we begin to live differently: with freedom, dignity, courage, and hope. And Mary, our Mother, leads us back to that identity every time we come to her in prayer.

Today we pray: “Lord, restore in me the truth that I am Your child. Mary, wrap me in your mantle and help me live with confidence in God’s love.”

Before we begin, I want to thank each of you who continues to pray with us every day. Entering our 40th day is a grace, and I’m thankful for this community that chooses prayer, hope, and perseverance.

This part of the novena is prayed in thanksgiving, trusting that God is already answering our intentions; healing for those in recovery, peace in the world, and the intentions of every person praying with us.

Today we reflect on a truth many of us learn the hard way: discipline leads to freedom.  Discipline is not punishment. It’s a choice — a daily choice — to live in a way that supports peace, healing, and purpose.

Real freedom doesn’t come from doing whatever we feel. It comes from choosing what helps us grow. It comes from putting boundaries around our time, our habits, our thoughts, and even our relationships.

Recovery requires discipline. Prayer requires discipline. Healing requires discipline. But discipline is not something we do on our own, God gives us the grace to begin again every day.

If you are rebuilding your life after addiction, loss, or difficulty, remember: every small disciplined choice is a step toward freedom.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, give me the discipline to choose what is good,
so I may live in the freedom You desire for me.”

La recuperación, la sanación y el crecimiento espiritual casi nunca son rectos, pero Dios siempre está formando algo bueno, algo sanador, algo santo; incluso a partir de nuestras luchas.

Hoy, demos gracias por esas partes de nuestra historia que no entendíamos, porque ahora podemos ver cómo Dios nos sostuvo. 

Nuestra oración de hoy es: “Señor, gracias por guiar mi historia, incluso en los momentos que no entendí.”

Sometimes we only notice His work when we look back; the doors that closed to protect us, the unexpected help that arrived at the right time, the people who showed up when we needed support, the strength we found on days we thought we couldn’t go on.

Recovery, healing, and spiritual growth rarely happen in a straight line. But God is always weaving something good, something healing, something holy, even from our struggles.

So today, give thanks for the parts of your story that didn’t make sense at the time, because now you can see how God carried you through them.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, thank You for guiding my story, even in the moments I didn’t understand.”

Hoy damos gracias a Dios por cada día de sobriedad. Un día sobrio es un regalo. Un día con claridad, con fuerza, con esperanza. Tal vez no fue fácil llegar aquí, pero cada paso, cada decisión, cada momento donde dijiste “no” a la adicción, es una victoria.

A veces pensamos que solo debemos agradecer cuando todo está perfecto, pero la verdadera gratitud empieza en lo pequeño: un despertar con paz, una noche de descanso, una conversación sincera, un día sin caer.

Demos gracias por los días buenos y también por los días difíciles,
porque Dios está trabajando en ambos.

Hoy nuestra oración es: “Señor, gracias por la fuerza de hoy. Gracias por la gracia para seguir caminando.”

Today we reflect on detachment, not running away from life, but letting go of what keeps us from God. Spiritual detachment means noticing when we’re trying to control every outcome, when we’re holding on too tightly to fear, to expectations, to people, to habits, or to the idea that things must go our way.

Maturity in the spiritual life happens when we can say: “Lord, I want what You want, even if it looks different than what I expected.”

Detachment is not cold or distant, it actually brings peace. We trust God more. We surrender worry more quickly. We allow Him to lead.

If there’s something heavy on your heart today, let it go, even for a moment, and say: “Jesus, I trust You with this.”

So much of our world tells us that we need more to be happy, more things, more success, more noise, more activity. 

But God often meets us in the simple moments: A quiet cup of coffee in the morning, a walk outside, a smile from a stranger, a deep breath after a long day, a single Hail Mary whispered from the heart.

Joy is not always found in big events. Many times, it’s hidden in the small, ordinary moments where we slow down enough to notice God’s presence.

Simplicity helps clear the clutter inside our hearts. It makes space for gratitude. It reminds us that God is enough, and with Him, we already have what we truly need.

Today, let our prayer be: “Lord, help me find joy in the simple things, and see Your presence in my ordinary day.”

Hoy reflexionamos sobre vivir con propósito después de la adicción.

Cuando alguien empieza a sanar, la vida no termina ahí… empieza de nuevo. Dios no solo quiere liberarte del dolor, Él quiere darte una misión, un propósito, algo bueno para ofrecer al mundo.

Después de la adicción viene un nuevo capítulo: claridad, servicio, gratitud, humildad y compasión por otros. Muchas veces, las personas que han pasado por la oscuridad son las que más pueden ayudar, amar y comprender. Dios puede tomar lo que fue una herida y convertirlo en una fuente de gracia.

Hoy damos gracias por las segundas oportunidades, los nuevos comienzos y el propósito que nace después de la sanación.

Nuestra oración hoy es: “Señor, gracias por darme un propósito nuevo y una vida renovada en Ti.”

Today, we reflect on living with purpose after addiction.

Recovery is not just about what you leave behind, it’s about what you step into. When someone is freed from addiction, they often ask, “Now what?” “What is my life supposed to look like now?” That question is holy, because God never just removes something, He replaces it with meaning, service, and growth.

Purpose can look simple: helping one person a day, being present with your family, starting a new routine, praying for someone still struggling, showing kindness to a stranger, building something slowly, day by day.  Living with purpose means offering your story to God and saying, “Use it however You want.”

Your healing becomes someone else’s hope. Your progress becomes someone else’s courage. Your “yes” becomes someone else’s beginning.

Today our prayer is: “Lord, thank You for giving me a purpose after healing.”

La sanación muchas veces comienza con un paso pequeño: una oración, un mensaje, paciencia, perdón, o la valentía para decir: “Lo siento.” Reconstruir toma tiempo. Toma gracia. Toma humildad. Y tomar la decisión de pedir a Dios que ablande nuestros corazones y también los corazones de los demás.

Hoy damos gracias por las relaciones que se están renovando y por las relaciones que Dios sigue sanando en Su tiempo.

Nuestra oración hoy es: “Señor, gracias por restaurar la unidad, la paz y el amor en mis relaciones.”

Broken relationships are part of life, misunderstandings, distance, hurt, pride, silence, fear. Sometimes we don’t know how to fix what has been damaged. But God knows. Healing often begins with one small step: a prayer, a message, a breath of patience, a choice to forgive, or the courage to say, “I’m sorry.”

Rebuilding takes time. It takes grace. It takes humility. And it takes asking God to soften hearts; our own, and the hearts of others. 

Today we give thanks for the relationships being renewed, and for the relationships God is still healing in His time.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, thank You for restoring unity, peace, and love in my relationships.”

En esta segunda parte de la novena, oramos en acción de gracias, confiando en que Dios ya está obrando, trayendo paz al mundo, libertad a quienes luchan con adicciones, sanación para quienes están en recuperación, y bendiciones para todas las intenciones que guardas en tu corazón.

Hoy reflexionamos sobre cómo la comunidad nos sostiene.

Caminar con Dios no es fácil hacerlo solo. La fe crece cuando tenemos compañía. A veces lo único que necesitamos es una persona que ore por nosotros, alguien que nos recuerde que Dios sigue presente.

La comunidad nos da fuerza, apoyo y esperanza. Cuando alguien cae, el otro ayuda a levantarse. Cuando alguien se siente solo, la comunidad recuerda que nunca está solo.

Dios usa a las personas que pone en nuestro camino para sostenernos, escucharnos y acompañarnos. Hoy damos gracias por la comunidad que Dios nos ha regalado aquí.

And today, our theme is  how community sustains us.

Healing is hard when we try to do it alone. But God never meant for us to walk this path by ourselves.

Community gives us encouragement on the days we feel weak, prayers when we don’t have the words, and a reminder that God is working, even when we can’t see it.

Sometimes the greatest grace is simply knowing there is someone praying with you and for you. Today, thank God for the people who lift you up, and ask the Holy Spirit to show you someone you can pray for, encourage, or support today.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, thank You for the people who walk with me on this journey of faith.”

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we pray in thanksgiving for our community of prayer and for all who lift one another up in love.

Hoy reflexionamos sobre ofrecer nuestra sanación por otros que aún sufren

Cuando Dios comienza a sanarnos, no es solo para nosotros. La sanación también se convierte en una ofrenda.  Podemos decir: “Señor, lo que has hecho en mí, úsalo para tocar a alguien más.”

Muchos a nuestro alrededor siguen sufriendo: heridas emocionales, enfermedades, adicciones, miedos, pérdidas, dudas. Y cuando ofrecemos nuestra propia sanación por ellos, Dios une nuestros corazones con los suyos.

Así como Jesús ofreció Su dolor por todos, nosotros podemos ofrecer nuestro proceso, nuestro progreso, y hasta nuestras caídas, por alguien que lo necesita más.

Nuestra oración hoy es:“Señor, toma mi sanación y úsala para bendecir a otros.”

Si estás escribiendo en tu diario, tómate un momento para preguntarte: ¿A quién puedo ofrecer mi oración y mi sanación hoy?

Madre Bendita, Reina del Santísimo Rosario, hoy te ofrecemos nuestras vidas y toda sanación que Dios ya ha comenzado en nosotros. La ofrecemos por todos los que aún están sufriendo.

Oramos por quienes buscan un trabajo, por quienes han tenido un aborto espontáneo y desean concebir nuevamente, por quienes desean completar sus estudios, por la salud, la familia y el uso de los talentos para la gloria de Dios, por quienes piden un milagro o tienen intenciones privadas, por padres y familias, por quienes luchan contra el cáncer, enfermedades, ansiedad o miedo y necesitan protección, por un parto seguro y la salud de mamá y bebé, por estabilidad financiera y libertad de deudas, por sanación de enojo, orgullo, paranoia, adicciones y conversión, por paz interior, por quienes desean volver a Cristo, por quienes viven con enfermedades crónicas, por el trabajo y negocio del esposo, por claridad y libertad del corazón, por quienes buscan vencer adicciones, concebir y recibir sabiduría, por las almas del purgatorio, la paz del mundo y la guía de los líderes de gobierno, por unión, protección y compañía para quienes sufren dolor crónico, por más deseo de acercarse a Dios, por un buen resultado en la corte, y por toda persona que pide un resultado favorable en su situación.

As we continue these 27 days in thanksgiving, we thank God for the healing already happening, for peace in the world, for freedom from addictions, for those in recovery, and for the intentions of everyone praying with us.

And today, our theme is offering our healing for others who are still suffering.
One of the beautiful things about the Christian life is that our healing is never just for us. When God restores us, even in small ways, we can offer that grace for others who are still in pain.

Maybe you’re farther along in your journey, maybe you’ve received clarity, strength, or peace…or maybe you're still taking the first steps. Wherever you are, your “yes” to God helps someone else keep going.

So today we pray: “Lord, take the healing You’ve begun in me, and use it to bless someone who is struggling today.”

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself: who can I spiritually offer my healing, my progress, or my prayers for today?

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we offer our healing for all who are still suffering.

We lift up prayers for those needing jobs, financial stability, and relief from debt, for families grieving miscarriage and those hoping to conceive again, for those seeking to complete important goals including a PhD, for health, protection, and peace for individuals and families, for miracles, strength, and renewed trust in God, for private intentions known only to the heart, for parents and family members needing grace and guidance, for those battling cancer, chronic illness, chronic pain, and emotional burdens, for safe labor and delivery for mothers and babies, for healing from anger, pride, paranoia, addiction, and the desire for conversion, for a return to Christ for those who have drifted, for husbands seeking success in work and business, for freedom, clarity, wisdom, and discernment, for those overcoming addictions, seeking healing, or praying to conceive, for souls in purgatory, world peace, and our government leaders, for future pregnancies, safe pregnancies, and healthy babies, for reconciliation, union, and protection in relationships, for the grace to grow closer to God, for a successful court outcome and justice for all involved, and for everyone waiting for answers or needing to reconnect with someone.

En esta segunda parte de la novena, oramos en acción de gracias, creyendo que Dios ya está obrando, ya está sanando, y ya está respondiendo nuestras intenciones, aun si todavía no vemos el resultado.

Hoy reflexionamos sobre la alegría de vivir en la verdad.

La verdad nos hace libres. Cuando vivimos con honestidad delante de Dios, delante de nosotros mismos y delante de los demás, encontramos paz.

A veces es difícil ver la verdad, aceptar la verdad o dejar que la verdad nos transforme. Pero cuando dejamos entrar la luz, el corazón se vuelve más ligero y empezamos a vivir con más claridad, más libertad y más alegría.

La verdad no nos condena, la verdad nos guía, nos sana y nos acerca a Dios.

Nuestra oración hoy es: “Señor, muéstrame la verdad y dame la gracia de vivirla con alegría.”

Today we reflect on the joy that comes from living in truth.

When we stop pretending, stop hiding, stop trying to be someone we’re not…a deep peace enters the heart. Truth frees us from fear. Truth frees us from shame. And truth opens the door for God to work in us with real power.

Living in truth doesn’t mean being perfect; it means being honest about where we are and trusting that God meets us there with love, not judgment.

There is joy in admitting our weakness, joy in asking for help, joy in choosing what is right even when it’s hard. The more we live in truth, the more space we give God to heal, restore, and guide us.

Today we simply pray: “Jesus, help me live in truth, and give me the joy that comes from being fully Yours.”

Hoy reflexionamos sobre algo importante: cómo la gracia nos permite ver el progreso, aunque sea pequeño.

A veces pensamos que el progreso debe ser grande o rápido. Pero Dios trabaja de forma sencilla, paso a paso. Un día tienes más fuerza, otro día puedes decir “no” a una tentación, otro día sientes un poquito más de paz. Todo eso es gracia…y todo eso es progreso.

No importa si el avance es lento. Lo que importa es que Dios te está moviendo hacia adelante, te está renovando, te está sanando. Hoy damos gracias por cada pequeño paso y por toda la gracia que nos sostiene.

La oración de hoy es; “Señor, gracias por el progreso que no siempre veo,
pero que sé que Tú estás haciendo en mí.”

Today we reflect on seeing progress through grace.

Sometimes healing feels slow. Sometimes we don’t see the change happening, but that doesn’t mean God is not working. Grace often shows up quietly; in more patience than you had yesterday, in a moment of calm when you used to panic, in a choice to walk away from temptation, or in strength you didn’t know you had.

Progress is not perfection. Progress is simply moving forward with God, one small step at a time. So today, thank God for the progress you can see… and the progress you can’t see yet. Because His grace is always at work, even when the change feels slow.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, open my eyes to the progress Your grace is creating in my life.”

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself: where have I seen even a small sign of growth, peace, or strength in these last 30 days?

Hoy reflexionamos sobre el don de la recuperación y la gracia que lo hace posible.

La recuperación no siempre es una línea recta. Tiene avances, caídas, aprendizajes y nuevos comienzos. Pero cada momento de honestidad, cada paso de valentía, cada instante donde alguien escoge la sanación en lugar del daño, eso es un regalo de Dios.

Muchas veces pensamos que recuperarse significa llegar a la meta final. Pero también son las victorias pequeñas: el momento en que alguien pide ayuda, el momento en que se resiste la tentación, el momento en que regresa la esperanza después de un día difícil.

Hoy damos gracias a Dios por cada paso hacia adelante, por cada poquito de fuerza, por cada claridad recibida y por cada alma que no se rinde. Aunque tú o alguien que amas todavía esté en la lucha, da gracias, porque Dios ya está obrando, ya está restaurando, ya está sanando.

Nuestra oración hoy es: “Señor, gracias por la sanación que ya comenzó y por la recuperación que está creciendo.”

Today, we reflect on the gift of recovery and the grace that makes it possible.

Recovery isn’t a straight path. There are steps forward, steps back, moments of strength, and moments that feel heavy. But every moment of honesty, courage, humility, and every choice toward healing, that is a gift from God.

We often think recovery only “counts” once we reach the final breakthrough. But recovery is also found in the small victories: the moment someone asks for help, the moment temptation is resisted, the moment hope returns after a dark day.

Today we thank God for every step, every grace, every bit of strength, for healing that has begun, and healing that is still unfolding. Even if you or someone you love is still in the middle of the battle, give thanks…because God is already working. His restoration has already started.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, thank You for the healing that has begunand the recovery that is unfolding.”

Even if your prayers haven’t been answered yet, we thank God in advance, trusting that healing is already underway,
and believing that grace is moving in ways we cannot see.

Today we reflect on freedom and grace, two gifts God offers us again and again. Freedom doesn’t always look like a dramatic moment. Sometimes it’s quiet: a new thought, a softening of the heart, a temptation resisted, a burden released little by little.

Grace is the gentle voice of God saying: “You can begin again.” “You are not stuck.” “You are not the same person you were yesterday.” Conversion is ongoing, it’s the daily decision to turn toward God, to choose peace instead of chaos, truth instead of fear, and love instead of old habits.

So today, we celebrate how far God has already brought us,
and we thank Him for the freedom that is unfolding day by day.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, thank You for every small step of healing, for every moment of grace, and for the freedom You are bringing into my life.”

Desde hoy entramos en una nueva etapa. Los primeros 27 días los rezamos en petición, pero los próximos 27 días, del Día 28 al 54, los rezamos en acción de gracias. Esto significa algo hermoso: aunque todavía no veamos la respuesta, le damos gracias a Dios creyendo que Él ya está obrando.

A veces la sanación, la conversión o el cambio empiezan de manera silenciosa, pero la fe nos invita a confiar que Dios ya comenzó Su obra en nosotros. Así que hoy hacemos este acto de fe: “Señor, gracias por lo que estás haciendo,
incluso en las partes que todavía no entiendo.”

Hoy reflexionamos sobre confiar en la obra oculta de Dios.

Dar gracias antes de ver la respuesta no es fácil, pero es un acto profundo de confianza. Significa decir: “No lo veo… pero creo.” “No lo entiendo… pero confío.” “No ha pasado aún… pero sé que Dios no me abandona.”

En estos próximos 27 días, vamos a caminar con gratitud,
sabemos que Dios escucha, que Dios sana, que Dios dirige cada detalle, aunque a veces tarde un poco más de lo que imaginamos.

Today is a very special day. We have completed the first 27 days in petition, and now we enter the next 27 days in thanksgiving, even if our prayers have not been answered yet. 

This is the heart of the 54-Day Rosary Novena: praying with trust, thanking God in advance, believing that healing is already underway, even if we don’t see the full picture yet. Thanksgiving shifts our heart from worry to confidence. It reminds us that God is working behind the scenes, in His timing, in His way, with His love.

So as we begin this second half of the novena, we pray with a grateful heart, thanking God for what He is doing; the seen and the unseen. And if you’d like us to pray for you by name, you can submit your intentions at 54daysofroses.com, or email me directly at prayers@54daysofroses.com.

The reflection of today is about trusting that healing has already begun. 

Sometimes answers take time. Sometimes healing is slow.  Sometimes the change happens inside of us before it happens around us. But thanksgiving reminds us: God has already started. He is already moving. He is already preparing the way. 

So today we pray: “Lord, I thank You even now, for what You are doing in my heart, in my life, and in every intention I have placed in Your hands.”

En esta temporada seguimos orando por la paz en el mundo, por la libertad de las adicciones, por quienes están luchando, por quienes están en recuperación, y por las familias y amigos que los acompañan con amor y esperanza. También oramos por las intenciones que llevas en tu corazón.

Hoy reflexionamos sobre la humildad de empezar otra vez.

A veces sentimos que fallamos, que retrocedemos, que no avanzamos tan rápido como quisiéramos. Pero Dios no nos pide perfección. Dios nos pide corazón. Empezar de nuevo no es una derrota. Es una señal de que todavía creemos, todavía confiamos, todavía queremos caminar con Él.

Cada vez que vuelves a intentarlo, aunque sea despacio, aunque sea cansado, Dios te recibe con misericordia y esperanza. 

Hoy podemos decir: “Señor, dame la humildad para volver a comenzar.”

Madre Bendita, Reina del Santísimo Rosario, hoy te presentamos todas estas intenciones con fe y esperanza. 

 Oramos por los cumpleaños que se celebran hoy, este mes y hasta el 25 de diciembre, oramos por salud y bienestar, pedimos que un hogar no sea embargado y por toda necesidad financiera, oramos por conversión y una fe más profunda, oramos por provisión y la guía de Dios, pedimos consuelo para la familia que perdió a su sobrina, oramos por mi familia y por vender la casa, oramos por sanación, compasión, amor, perdón y unidad en la familia, pedimos libertad interior y paz, oramos por mí, mis hijos, mis nietos y todos por quienes rezo el rosario, pedimos la aprobación y migración exitosa de una familia que se muda a Newfoundland, oramos por empleos y nuevas oportunidades, pedimos que “Go Dumplings” y “Waoh Cookies” prosperen, oramos por sanación, trabajo y reconocimiento, pedimos por un “alguien especial”, oramos por un esposo o esposa bueno(a) y amoroso(a), pedimos sanación emocional y física y encontrar vivienda, oramos por buena salud y buen ánimo, pedimos crecer en santidad y aprender más de nuestra fe católica, oramos por conversión, por la construcción de una casa y por una relación con Dios restaurada, y pedimos bendiciones para los donantes que apoyan nuestro podcast.

Healing is not a straight line. Sometimes we fall back, get discouraged, or feel like we’re not moving fast enough. But God is not keeping score the way we think He is. He looks at the heart, at every small step, every effort, every moment we turn back to Him.

Starting again doesn’t mean you failed. It means you’re still fighting. It means you’re growing. And it means you trust that God’s mercy is bigger than your mistakes. 

Humility is simply saying: “Lord, I can’t do this on my own. Help me begin again.” And every time we ask, He gives us the strength we need, one day at a time. 

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself:  where in my life do I need the humility to start again, and what small step can I take today? 

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we bring to you every heart that needs a fresh start, and every intention shared with us this season.

 We pray for birthdays being celebrated today, this month, and through December 25th, health, well-being, emotional and physical healing, a home at risk of repossession and all financial needs, conversion, deeper faith, and a restored relationship with God, provision and God’s guidance in decisions, a family grieving the loss of a niece, families praying for their loved ones and for their home to sell, compassion, love, forgiveness, and understanding within families, interior freedom and peace, blessings for their children, grandchildren, and everyone they pray for, the successful approval and migration of a family to Newfoundland, jobs, opportunities, and stability, healing, employment, and recognition, someone praying for a special person, someone praying for a good and loving wife, the need for housing, safety, and security, good health and good spirits, the desire to grow holier and to deepen their Catholic faith, and a home to be built sooner and a renewed relationship with God.

Las recaídas son parte del camino de sanación. No son el final, son una oportunidad para levantarnos con más humildad, con más claridad y con más confianza en Dios.

Dios no te pide perfección. Dios te pide que sigas adelante. Que vuelvas a Él una y otra vez. Cuando hay una recaída, no digas “fallé” di: “Señor, ayúdame a empezar de nuevo.” 

Si estás escribiendo en tu diario, tómate un momento para preguntarte: cuando caigo o me equivoco, ¿qué pienso de mí misma(o)? ¿Y qué palabra de esperanza creo que Dios me quiere dar hoy?

Today we reflect on a hard but important truth: relapse does not mean failure.

In any healing journey, whether it’s addiction, habits, thoughts, or patterns, there are ups and downs. Some days feel strong and clear. Other days feel confusing, heavy, or overwhelming.

When relapse happens, the enemy wants us to believe: “See? You’ll never change.” “Why even try?” “God must be disappointed in you.” But that is a lie. Falling does not erase all the progress you’ve made. It does not cancel the grace God has already given you. It does not change how much He loves you.

What matters is not that you fell, what matters is that you get back up and turn again to God. In the Gospel, Jesus doesn’t reject those who fall. He lifts them up, forgives them, and invites them to walk with Him again.

So if you’ve relapsed, or feel like you’ve gone backwards, today I want you to hear this clearly: You are not a failure. You are still loved. And God is not done with you.

Our prayer today is: “Lord, when I fall, give me the courage to get up again. Help me see myself through Your eyes, not through my shame.”

 If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself: where have I been hard on myself because I “went backwards”? What would it look like to receive God’s mercy and begin again?

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we pray especially for those who feel discouraged after a relapse or after falling into old habits.

We pray for:

• Those who feel ashamed or disappointed in themselves
• Those who are afraid to try again
• Those who are in recovery and feel tired or weak
• Families walking with loved ones through addiction and relapse
• Anyone who feels like giving up
• All who are asking for a new beginning with God

We also pray in a special way for everyone celebrating a birthday today, this month, and through December 25th.  May the Lord bless them, protect them, and draw them closer to His Heart through the prayers of Our Blessed Mother.

María es la madre que siempre nos recibe, la madre que no se asusta de nuestras heridas, la madre que nos mira con ternura cuando estamos cansados, tristes o rotos. A veces cargamos dolor, vergüenza, enojo o miedo…y no sabemos a quién acudir. Pero María siempre nos abre la puerta. Ella nos toma de la mano y nos lleva a Jesús.

Su amor materno no presiona, no juzga, no exige. Simplemente nos abraza y nos recuerda: “Hijo, hija… no estás solo. Estoy contigo.” Hoy pídele que te cubra con su manto y te acompañe en cada parte de tu sanación.

Nuestra oración hoy es: “María, Madre amorosa, consuela mi corazón herido
y llévame siempre a tu Hijo Jesús.”

Today, we reflect on Mary’s maternal love for the wounded heart.

Every one of us carries wounds,from disappointment, fear, addiction, loss, or things we don’t even know how to name. And sometimes those wounds feel too deep, too old, or too tender to touch. But Mary is a mother who knows how to hold a hurting heart. She doesn’t rush us. She doesn’t judge us. She doesn’t expect us to “be strong.” She simply stays.

At the foot of the Cross, she stayed. With her Son in His suffering, she stayed. And with us, in our brokenness, she stays. Her love is gentle, patient, and filled with compassion. She reminds us that God doesn’t turn away from our wounds, He enters them, heals them, and transforms them. 

So today, if your heart feels tired, ashamed, overwhelmed, or hurting, place it in Mary’s hands. Let her carry it to Jesus.

Our prayer today is: “Mary, Mother of Mercy, hold my wounded heart and bring it to the healing love of your Son.”

Hoy reflexionamos sobre algo que todos vivimos alguna vez: esos momentos en los que Dios parece estar en silencio. Oras… y nada. Esperas… y nada. Buscas señales… y todo se siente callado. Y en esos momentos es fácil pensar: “¿Dios me escucha?” “¿Por qué no cambia nada?” “¿Estoy sola? ¿Estoy solo?”

Pero el silencio no significa que Dios está lejos. Muchas veces Su silencio quiere decir que Él está trabajando profundamente, preparando tu corazón, protegiéndote de avanzar demasiado rápido, o formando algo mejor de lo que pediste.

Piensa en una semilla: crece en silencio, debajo de la tierra, en lo escondido…pero ese silencio está lleno de vida. Así trabaja Dios con nosotros.

Si hoy Dios parece guardar silencio, no te desanimes. Él te ve. Él te escucha. Él está más cerca de lo que crees.

Nuestra oración hoy es: “Señor, aun cuando estás en silencio, confío en que estás conmigo.”

Today we reflect on something every person of faith experiences: those moments when God feels silent.

You pray… and nothing. You wait… and nothing. You look for signs… and heaven feels quiet. In those moments, it’s easy to wonder: “Does God hear me?” “Why isn’t anything changing?” “Am I alone?”

But silence is not God’s absence. Often His silence means He’s working deeply in the hidden places, preparing your heart, protecting you from moving too fast, or shaping something better than what you asked for.

Think of a seed. It grows in silence, in the dark, beneath the soil. But that silence is full of life. God works the same way with us.

So if God feels silent today, don’t lose heart. He sees you. He hears you. He is closer than you think.

Today our prayer is: “Lord, even when You are silent, I trust that You are near.”

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself where in my life do I feel God is silent? And what do I think He might be teaching me in this waiting?

Hoy reflexionamos sobre tener gratitud, incluso cuando estamos pasando por momentos difíciles.  La gratitud no significa ignorar el dolor ni fingir que todo está bien. Es simplemente reconocer que Dios está con nosotros,
aun cuando las cosas no salen como queremos.

A veces la gratitud es grande; una sanación, una respuesta, una bendición. Y a veces es pequeña; un minuto de paz, una sonrisa, un respiro profundo. La gratitud abre el corazón y nos recuerda que Dios sigue trabajando aunque no podamos ver todo el plan.

Hoy podemos decir: “Señor, gracias por estar conmigo, aquí y ahora.”

 Oramos por la sanación del cuerpo, mente y espíritu; por quienes viven con fallo renal u otras enfermedades serias; por la sanación divina y la protección; por un esposo con infección en el ojo; por todas las intenciones especiales; por Gloria, quien falleció ayer; por un hijo en una situación seria; por los problemas del estómago, la salud mental y el deseo de un futuro esposo santo; por los cumpleaños próximos, pidiendo paz y bendición; por el descanso de padres que cuidan bebés; por el discernimiento de vocación; por el dolor de espalda; por quienes oran para encontrar un buen hombre; por la sanación en relaciones y por un futuro esposo o esposa; por un corazón suave y verdadera sanación; por la necesidad de un carro; por un mejor ambiente de trabajo; por un niño de tres años que aún no habla; por quienes buscan un trabajo permanente; por la protección y la guía de la sabiduría de Dios; por alguien que comienza el entrenamiento militar, por su éxito, fe y renovación en su matrimonio; por los padres que oran por sus hijos; por quienes buscan un esposo o esposa católico; por los matrimonios, las familias y las necesidades financieras; por que el cáncer no regrese; y por todas las intenciones enviadas a nuestro ministerio y las que cada persona guarda en su corazón.

Today we reflect on something that can feel impossible when life gets heavy: gratitude.

Not fake gratitude…not pretending everything is okay…but choosing to recognize God’s presence even in the middle of the struggle. Gratitude doesn’t erase the pain, but it opens a small window of light. It reminds us that God is working, even when we can’t see the full picture.

Sometimes the gratitude is big; like healing, protection, or a breakthrough. And sometimes it’s small; like a quiet moment of peace, a smile from your child, a breath you didn’t know you needed, or the simple grace of getting through the day.

Gratitude shifts the heart. It helps us see that even in the struggle, God is still holding us.

So today, we simply say: “Lord, thank You for being with me, even here, even now.”

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself: what is one small thing I can thank God for today, even in the middle of my struggle?

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we lift up every heart that is struggling but still choosing hope. We pray for all who are asking for healing, strength, courage, and clarity.

We pray for healing of body, mind, and spirit; for kidney failure and all serious health conditions; for divine healing and protection; for a husband’s eye infection; for all special intentions; for Gloria, who passed away yesterday; for a parent worried about a son in a serious situation; for stomach issues, mental health, and the desire for a holy future spouse; for an upcoming birthday, asking for peace and blessing; for restful sleep for parents caring for babies; for discernment of vocation; for back pain; for the desire to find a good man; for healing in relationships and for a future spouse; for a softened heart and true healing; for the need for a car; for a better work climate and culture; for a 3-year-old who has not begun speaking; for the grace to find a permanent job; for God’s protection and guidance; for someone beginning Marine bootcamp and for success, patience, faith, and the revival of a marriage; for parents praying for their children; for those seeking a Catholic spouse; for marriages, families, financial needs; and for cancer to never return.

Y el orgullo nos dice: “Yo puedo sola.” “No necesito ayuda.” “No necesito cambiar.” Pero no fuimos creados para hacerlo todo solos. Dios no quiere que finjamos ser fuertes: Él quiere que seamos sinceros.

Soltar no es perder. Soltar es poner todo en las manos de Dios, quien nos ama más de lo que imaginamos.

Hoy podemos decir: “Jesús, suelto lo que me pesa. Guíame, ayúdame y dame un corazón humilde.”

Today, we reflect on letting go of pride and control.

This is one of the hardest parts of healing. Because sometimes, without realizing it, we cling to control out of fear; fear of being hurt, fear of being disappointed again,
fear of seeing our weakness, or fear of not knowing what comes next. And pride can whisper: “I can handle this alone.” “I don’t need help.” “I don’t need to change.” But the truth is…we were never meant to carry everything by ourselves.

God doesn’t ask us to pretend we’re strong. He asks us to be honest; to admit when we’re tired, to admit when we can’t fix it,and to let Him guide us gently toward peace.Letting go isn’t losing control, it’s giving control back to the One who loves us more than we can imagine.

So today, simply pray: “Jesus, I let go. Take what I’m holding too tightly.Lead me, guide me, and make my heart humble.”

If you are keeping up with your journal, ask yourself where am I trying to handle everything on my own? And what is one thing I can surrender to God today? Write it gently. Name it. Offer it.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, today we place before you every heart that is tired, overwhelmed, or afraid to let go. Teach us humility, trust, and surrender.

Pídele a Dios valor para regresar al Sacramento y dejar que Su gracia renueve tu mente y tu corazón.

Nuestra oración hoy es: Señor, dame humildad para pedir perdón y valentía para comenzar de nuevo. María, llévame a la misericordia de tu Hijo.

Many of us hesitate to go to Confession because we feel ashamed, embarrassed, or afraid of facing our sins. But Confession is not about punishment, it’s about beginning again.

Every time we confess, God offers us something new: a clean heart, a fresh start, and the grace to keep moving forward. Confession reminds us that we are not defined by our past, we are renewed by God’s mercy.

If you’ve been carrying guilt, regret, or heaviness, this is your invitation to let it go. Ask God for the courage to return to the Sacrament and allow His grace to renew your mind and your heart.

Our prayer today is: Lord, give me the humility to ask for forgiveness and the courage to begin again. Mary, lead me back to the mercy of your Son.

El tema de hoy es encontrar fuerza en la Escritura.

Cuando la vida se siente pesada o confusa, la Palabra de Dios es un lugar seguro al que siempre podemos volver. La Escritura nos da estabilidad, nos recuerda quién es Dios y nos recuerda quiénes somos nosotros en Él.

Cuando nos sentimos débiles, la Escritura nos dice: “Mi gracia es suficiente para ti.”

Cuando tenemos miedo: “No temas, porque Yo estoy contigo.”

Cuando nos sentimos perdidos: “El Señor es mi pastor; nada me falta.”

Y cuando el corazón está herido: “El Señor está cerca de los quebrantados de corazón.”

La Palabra de Dios nos da fuerza, esperanza, claridad y paz. Nos recuerda que Dios ha sido fiel antes, y volverá a serlo.

Nuestra oración de hoy es: Señor, dame la gracia de acudir a Tu Palabra. Que la Escritura me guíe, me fortalezca y me hable con verdad. María, ayúdame a guardar la Palabra de Dios en mi corazón.

 Oramos por quienes luchan contra el cáncer y quienes se están recuperando de cirugías, quienes necesitan o están esperando un trasplante, sanación emocional y física, hijas e hijos que necesitan paz, claridad o dirección, quienes desean vivir más como Jesús, embarazos saludables y partos seguros, quienes piden por un auto u otras necesidades diarias, todas las vocaciones, familias que buscan unidad, protección y fortaleza, estabilidad financiera y quienes enfrentan dificultades económicas, estudiantes, maestros y quienes se preparan para exámenes, todas las almas de los fieles difuntos, quienes buscan un nuevo trabajo o un avance en su carrera, parejas que desean concebir, quienes regresan a la Iglesia y buscan confiar más en Dios, sanación de enfermedades crónicas, quienes enfrentan casos legales o problemas de herencia, cumpleaños, acción de gracias y bendiciones especiales, quienes esperan resultados médicos y toda intención privada enviada a este ministerio.

Today’s theme is finding strength in Scripture.

When life feels heavy, confusing, or overwhelming, Scripture becomes a place we can return to again and again. The Word of God steadies us. It reminds us of who God is and who we are in Him.

When we feel weak, Scripture tells us: “My grace is sufficient for you.”

When we feel afraid: “Do not be afraid, for I am with you.”

When we feel lost: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

And when we feel broken: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.”

Scripture gives us strength, hope, clarity, and peace.
It reminds us that God has been faithful before, and He will be faithful again.

Today let our prayer be: Lord, give me the grace to turn to Your Word. Let Scripture guide me, strengthen me, and speak truth into my life. Mary, help me hold God's Word in my heart.

We pray for those battling cancer and those recovering from surgery, those awaiting or needing transplants, emotional and physical healing, daughters and sons who need peace, clarity, or direction, those longing to live more like Jesus, healthy pregnancies and safe delivery, those praying for transportation and daily needs, vocations of every kind, families seeking unity, protection, and strength, financial stability and those facing economic hardship, students, teachers, and all preparing for exams, the souls of the faithful departed, those seeking new jobs or career breakthroughs, couples hoping to conceive, individuals returning to the Church and growing in trust, healing from chronic illness, those facing legal or inheritance issues, birthday blessings and thanksgiving, all awaiting medical results, and every private intention sent to our ministry.

Hoy reflexionamos sobre lo que significa cargar nuestra cruz con Cristo.

Cada persona tiene una cruz, una lucha, una herida o una situación que pesa. Pero Jesús nunca nos pide cargarla solos. Él la carga con nosotros. 

Tu cruz puede ser una adicción, ansiedad, problemas familiares, presión económica, tristeza o incertidumbre.
Sea lo que sea, Dios lo ve. Él no te está pidiendo que seas fuerte por tu propia cuenta. Te está invitando a apoyarte en Su fuerza.

Cuando unimos nuestra cruz a la de Cristo, el peso se convierte en un camino de gracia. No somos vencidos por la carga, somos fortalecidos por Aquel que camina a nuestro lado.

Nuestra oración de hoy es: Jesús, ayúdame a cargar mi cruz contigo. Dame fuerza cuando me siento débil y esperanza cuando me siento desanimado. María, quédate cerca de mí en este camino.

Today we reflect on what it means to carry our cross with Christ.

Every person has a cross, a struggle, a wound, or a situation that feels heavy. But Jesus never asks us to carry it alone.
He carries it with us.

Your cross may be addiction, anxiety, family stress, financial pressure, grief, or uncertainty. Whatever it is, God sees it. He is not asking you to be strong by yourself. He is asking you to lean on His strength.

When we unite our cross with Christ, the weight becomes a path to grace. We are not defeated by the burden, we are strengthened by the One who walks beside us.

Today our prayer is: Jesus, help me carry my cross with You. Give me strength when I feel weak, and hope when I feel discouraged. Mary, stay close to me through this journey.

Hoy reflexionamos sobre la paciencia que necesita todo proceso de recuperación.

El cambio toma tiempo. Romper malos hábitos toma tiempo. La sanación toma tiempo. Y muchas veces lo más difícil es tener paciencia con nosotros mismos. Queremos avanzar rápido, queremos sentirnos bien ya, y cuando no sucede, nos desanimamos.

Pero la recuperación es un proceso diario. Hay días fuertes y días en los que parece que volvemos a empezar. Eso no es fracaso,  es parte del camino. Dios trabaja de manera suave y constante, y cada paso pequeño cuenta. 

Hoy pídele a Dios la gracia de seguir avanzando al ritmo de Su voluntad. Nuestra oración de hoy es: Señor, dame paciencia conmigo mismo y con este proceso. Ayúdame a confiar en lo que Tú estás haciendo en mí, aunque no lo vea.

Change takes time. Breaking habits takes time. Healing takes time. And sometimes the hardest part is being patient with ourselves. We want progress to be quick, we want the struggle to stop, and when it doesn’t, we feel discouraged. But recovery is a daily process.

Some days feel strong, and some days feel like we’re starting over. That doesn’t mean failure, it means you’re human. God works slowly and gently, and every small step forward matters. Today, give yourself permission to grow at the pace that grace is unfolding in your life.

Our prayer for today is simple: Lord, give me patience with myself and with this process. Help me trust the work You’re doing in me, even when I can’t see it.
